I would never own a tarantula and no idea how I ended up on TarantulaTube but I’ve watched like 100 of Dave’s videos now and I love them. Some of those species are gorgeous. I think the Brazilian Jewel one is my fave thus far. There’s something so wholesome about seeing people lovingly care for an animal, whatever it is.

I started watching tarantula videos on TH-cam way back when tarantulaguy1976 was big, I recently discovered your channel and damn, none have inspired me to be a better keeper like your channel has. Love the educational vibes of your content! You have some of the best footage I have ever seen. Keep it up Dave!!
Off topic here but I noticed the fly traps & wanted to tell you that these kind work a LOT better & they are not scented like the kind you have. Those cheap pull down sticky traps actually have a sent to attract flies on them which you don't want. The kind I am talking about are 5 x 7 inches (12.7- 18cm) & bright yellow, they have no scent so they won't draw them into your home but they do attract them very well.

Hands down best and most educational tarantula channel. Makes me want to get back into the hobby! Well done mate! I used to study and analyze the medicinal properties of tarantula venom to discover analgesic (painkilling) applications to treat chronic pain without euphoric/addictive effects.

WOW! Dave, WOW! I know the title says amazing footage. But that was incredible, when he lured the female out at first it was like they were shaking hands! And then what camerawork from Camera Lady! I am the exact same way! I freak out if I see one for real! But for some reason its not so bad when watching Dave and Camera 🎥 Lady’s videos! It’s because Dave explains exactly what is happening and it really helped me to understand a little more about them.
Nice video! I had a communal of Heterothela villosella many years ago. They worked together and mated many times. I had it for 2 years before selling the whole communal. Great genus@

Well Dave, I up and did it. I picked up three new Ts today. I got a Therphosa apophysis, and Poecilotheria metallica (Both dream Ts of mine), and got a Chilobrachys sp "Electric Blue" as a freebie. Be calm, be gentle, and love your spiders!
