This is probably the most upclose, full of information, meritorically correct video of tarantula pairing I've ever seen, very well done, I hope there's more in the future because I'm leaving a subscribtion
I've seen a lot of experienced keepers on TH-cam doing rehousings and pairings and your technique is head and shoulders above the rest. You are calm and collected and empathetic and effective. Best tarantula channel on this platform.
@@daveslittlebeasties I'm extremely new to the hobby. I've always been fascinated with spiders (I'm 43 now) and while I'm far from arachnaphobic the speed tarantulas can achieve still gets me sometimes. Got some rehousings coming up. I'm a little nervous but I'm going to try and channel my inner Dave.
Same. I had such an awful day, his videos always make me happy and take my mind off of everything else for those 15-20 minutes. Is it selfish of me that I wish he would upload more often? Lol
I love seeing someone that actually cares about their spiders making straight to the point videos. Keep doing you and I appreciate the non-click baiting titles and thumbnails. Plus camera lady does a wonderful job. Unless the spider is 5ft or higher. This channel is just wholesome and it's great.
The precision of a veteran with that paintbrush, Dave. You’re like a surgeon. Your spiders don’t know how lucky they are to be in your care. Subscribed, thanks for all your videos mate 🤙🏼
You are the King as far as I'm concerned. I appreciate watching your content very much. I've been out of the hobby for 20 years. So many new & incredibly beautiful spiders now. You have such a calm overall demeanor...and thank goodness no loud obnoxious music or "fear thrills" to get attention like younger TH-camrs so often like to do. When I watch your content I can relax & sit back knowing it will be educational & lovely to watch. Cheers!
This was so fantastic to watch and I'm happy that the male could live on too! I laughed at my husband this morning when I said to him that Dave has posted another video and my husband answered me "oh that spiderman"! He admirers you and the Camera Lady as much as I do so he was excited to watch the new video with me, so thank you Dave and Camera Lad! Hugs, Susanne. 👋😊🕷🥰❤👍
@@daveslittlebeasties Yes you have done that but we have also been grandparents to a lovely Grammostola Rosea named Luni! She helped me to cure my phobia of spiders 🕷! My husband is Italian ( from the south of Italy ) and he used to search after spiders in cellars, among wine stocks and grottos when he was a child and didn't know if they where venomous or not he simlply didn't have the knowledge only his curiosity. He played with them gently and has never been bitten... I know that there is a few species there in Italy who can bite you and make you ill among them the European Black Widow, not as dangerous as that from USA but still significant medically! People where bit but often blame the Tarantulas. Taranto and the dance 🕺 💃 tarantella...the dance was believed to cure the bite...but I don't think it helps!
@@daveslittlebeasties 👋😊👍❤🕷 Me and my husband most certainly do that, we enjoy your calmness and the way you handle your little besties as well as the nice video work from your fantastic Camera Lady! I'm sure that you both are good ambassadors for spiders and tarantulas. Your videos can help cure peoples fear for spiders a creature who makes this world a better place for us humans too!
Missed a golden opportunity to add some love making music in there. Perhaps some Barry White lol. Love the close-up's at the beginning. They really do have quite tiny eyes.
I am always striving to emulate your calm demeanor. That move with the paintbrush was so smooth and harmless for them both. Very cool. I really liked that fanart too. Neat idea.
I'm getting my first spider today. A regal jumping spider. Your channel was recommended to me by someone in a jps group on facebook and I have to say your videos are very informative and great to watch!
Once again another great video 👍 with the best advice thank you for all you do for us newbies and vets I've learned so much from you love ❤ the video and the channel. Thanks again Dave and Camara Lady.
20" of spiders photographed beautifully, with great narration. Thanks for making spiders interesting, your channel is without doubt the best in this field.
Good morning Dave. I really love looking forward to your videos like this one.. it's like feeling your about to watch a movie. .. double feature..😊 Thank you for this one.. hope all your videos are like this one
New subscriber and enthusiast here! Love the content dave. Your confidence with the spiders is really settling to see as just got my first slings but still very wary of them. Thank you!
Brilliant video Dave, super pairing and fantastic footage, brilliant species the stirmi Dave, wonderful job as usual Dave by yourself and camera lady!!!.
They didn't give us much of a foreplay, instead got straight to the point. That "brush call" was a fascinating move. You really know what you're doing. Congratulations for the successful pairing. Fingers crossed for an egg sack, can't wait to see the "baby giants". And once again my compliments to the camera woman. Great job!
I guess for the spiders this is how the 4th dimension must feel like to us humans. The female spider was like Hmm Sex and dinner then BAM a paint brush from the 4th dimension gets in the way of her dinner. She will spend the rest of her days wondering what the hell that was that prevented her from having her mate for dinner. Crazy to think our brains may not able to perceive or comprehend something that may be all around us.
That was interesting. I was just thinking “what will he do if she attacks him?” And just as the thought formed you stuck in the paint brush between the fangs . pretty damn cool.
Amazing video as usual Dave, and beautifully shot! I thought the paintbrush between the fangs was pretty darn smart. I will steal that little trick from you if you don´t mind ;) Perfect execution, perfect husbandry, keep it up !
well well what a brilliant video with the clear amazing footage PROFF. amazing watching these 2 spiders. another hopefully pairing for the beastie room, brilliant camera lady, many thanks for sharing
Wow Dave, what can I say? Amazing video and you really know that the stirmi is my favourite as it mentioned before. Hope you get a sac. Keep up the awesome work
I stumbled across this channel about a week ago and I have been watching your videos for awhile now without a doubt this is one of the BEST channels on youtube.
