It is nice to see such a young lady cooking for her family. They sure are lucky. Hope you get video on your horse show that you are going to be in. I got my first horse at 16 and she was one big horse, 16 hands and her feet were size 3's on the front and 2's on the back. If I rode bareback I would have to find a hill so I could run down and leap on her. She was really good staying put while I walked up the hill, she knew I was going to leap on top of her. We had many adventure together. I love the feeling of running wild on the back of my horse.
I lived on a 74 acre farm in Oregon. And we used to turn our ice cream almost every night in the summer. I think it would totally be worth letting the kids try to do that. It's so fun.

Very helpful. ✳ Just an aside from my memories, my grandmother would make a pound cake with the egg yolks and then a angel food cake with the egg whites. Hand cranked ice cream always! No electric ice cream makers yet! The salt was used in the bucket around the the canister that held the ice cream and not salt in the ice cream. And it was rock salt that we used. Lots of rock salt to keep it very cold around the canister as you cranked away! Grandpa did most of the cranking after we had all taken our turns. Memories Lily. Lots of very special memories. ✳ Now, back to you! Your ice cream looked wonderful. So glad your family was enjoying it. Thank you for the cooking lesson. Use a chicken tractor with an atomic gate for Ducks by the pond. Duck eggs are the French bakers secret...every time you drive off the farm the ducks make a flight and return. Good luck building the LHF. (Lilly Horse Fund) Pheasants would also be fun for harvest and hunting. Host a firearms safety course on farm State certified.
Here is a tip for the egg whites. Make meringue candies. Simply make meringue then drop by spoonful on to parchment paper and bake til done. Id like to see video of this.
