I have never put chocolate chips in my banana bread......until now. The next time I make some I'm going to add those. We also always have peanut butter chips which I think would be a great addition as well. You have me thinking about other things I can add. Thanks for the great idea!
I make banana nut bread every month after I get my groceries and my extra bananas have gotten over ripe. I start with creaming the butter and sugar together. then add one egg at a time, and then I add the mashed bananas, I sift the flour and other dry ingredients together before I slowly add it to the wet stuff I add my nuts and pour the batter in my prepared bread pans and bake for about an hour, I set the alarm for 45 min to begin checking it every few minutes till it begins to pull away from the edges of the pans. I love your cooking with Lily channel girl, good for you. keep up the good work.

You can even look at it another way, as in a full cup there would be 4/4 equal to a whole cup. But, your recipe doesn't need 4/4, it only needs 3 fourths. Fractions are fun 1 whole equals 1/1 or 2/2 (two halves) or 3/3 (three thirds) or 4/4 (four fourths) and so on... See the pattern? Each of these equals one whole.

Hey Lily, sugar is actually a liquid ingredient. It starts out liquid and they crystallize it and becomes our sugar.
