Retired a little over 20 years ago. 34Mary20. Really miss my Kawasaki Police 1000. Went through two city bikes and two movie biikes. Had a really great time doing both.
This bike we were riding on, if I remember correctly, that windshield on it automaticly raises and lowers all depending on the speed of the bike, saw this on another video where a ofiicer on the same kind of bike cashed a suspect in a car, once the officer started gaining speed the windshield automaticly raised I guess to protect him from the wind, here in this video it looks liked he had it locked in the upward position.....If you dont mind me asking, the officer that was riding the bike with the two Flags on it, what kind of bike was that, looked like a real Classic Model of some sort..............
WOW cool, but you said owned, I never knew that a officer can actually purchase one of the departments motor bikes, unless the only thing I can think of is that it's like when they retire a police vehicle, after it's retired, then it's sometimes put up for sale then anybody can purchase it, is it the same, for this bike???????
Even from this view, really looks like he made a fantastic find, dont kknow if you mean find, by meaning he found this at one of those police auctions that they have a lot, I used to have a friend many years ago that used to go to these all of the time, and he actually purchased 3 retired Chevrolet Caprices the ones with the long tailights on the back, forgot the year, and man I rode it one of them, and they really still had the power, I hope he is really enjoying owning such a great bike........
+Dylantuning1995 Thanks. I am currently uploading one of our practices so people can get an idea of what goes into a performance so check back in a while it should be up.
I'm glad you see the value in what we do to put smiles on the faces of the community especially the children. They really appreciate your support because without tax payers like you this wouldn't be possible. Thank you for your support.

Andrew Silva I believe it was a 1946 Indian Police Bike. It's owned by one of our officers on he drill team.

This is his personal bike that he uses for displays at department functions and also rides in his off time. He found it and restored it.

is there any way you can get the name of your police bike siren or can you sound record the 3 tones shown here please thank you
Good morning Zachary unfortunately I am unable to accommodate your request as I have since retired from the police department and no longer ride.
Good job! Stay safe brothers and sisters!
what is the name of the siren
Not sure it's from the factory
Looking awesome, you need some work on the Wheelies though hahaha. Awesome job :)
+Dylantuning1995 I try not to crazy because of all of the spectators. But in my younger days on a Kawasaki I got some pretty good ones.
+bluesuit3 Haha understandable.. cool video though, love the LAPD :)

Glad to see that my hard earned tax dollars are being put to good use. You know how expensive that 91 unleaded gas can be!
