I bought mine from here but it was called United States equipment exchange. Not sure if they changed their name or what. Saved over 10k vs ordering new, only had 20 hours on it. So far so good!
What a great idea, certainly gives Newby buyers comfort they are not paying a fortune for old clapped out machines, and they're still a good trusted brand 👍
So Stan I guess you found your favorite equipment dealer, that gives you used equipment. That has low hours and is Brand New. 😊 I was floored by all that equipment there, I am just in awe about the whole thing. 😲 Can't wait to see the video on the upgraded piece of equipment that has been in the works for 3 years with Artic.
Yep, Lucas his brother and Randy along with John Starek all great people. Worked for them for about 4 seasons operating an end loader with a sectional on moved boatloads of snow good to see the new innovation the Arctic has going. I'd work for them again in a heart beat❤❤❤🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸👍👍👍
Same concept the rental car companies use (with manufacturers) but they are now running longer miles on cars before sale. The behind the scenes deal with Volvo and Case is what allows this to happen and good for all! As he mentioned - they delt with another manufacturer for 10 years and I am sure that others are wanting in.
I knew he looked familiar I drive past that location 1-2 times a year and the lot is always full from street view but never been on the property. I did not know they sell after 1-2 years.
I think they care more for the financing ? Is that where they make most of their money if it’s being financed with them. I think it’s the financing for them that they really want.
Comments full of equipment experts 😂 y’all can barely pay attention and have little to no knowledge about finance 😂 These guys didn’t invent the wheel, Every manufacturer has some sort of short term lease/rental program aimed at reducing the cost of slightly used equipment offered with full warranty.. My local JD ag dealership does this with tractors & combines .. The money is in the financing not the equipment itself. Arctic has set themselves up with a situation where they know exactly what their hourly cost to operate that equipment will be and sets it’s contracts up with the knowledge that cost is fixed for the season , they also operate in different regions so they minimize their risk of down time from lack of snow. I’d bet they also have a minimum service charge just for providing the equipment whether it’s used during the season or not..
So that's a $200 million plus operation. Whose capital is behind them? Whoever owns Case and Volvo. Probably Vanguard and Blackrock. Just like everything else.
step 1: be friends with case and volvo step 2: place an enormous bulk order so you're paying wayyyy less per unit step 3: use equipment for 1-2 seasons step 4: maintenance and shine them up step 5: sell as used and get most of your money back (because of the bulk pricing) only really paying for a year or so of use, and passing the cost of the equipment to the buyer step 6: $$$$$$$$
Wow Stan that is alot of equipment they are smart to turn it over every year or so good business sense. Just was wondering how financing works compared to new off dealer 0 percent on my new Kubota or would financing amount be the same in long run price per month
I'm curious, what is the cutoff for work hrs on a machine. For example, when looking to buy a machine, what amount of hrs would you be like, "nope too many hrs not even looking at it.."
Under 2000hrs will generally get you a solid machine. Ive seen side by side same model equipment tho where a 2000hr looks worse then a 5000hr. Depends on environment and abuse. Quality machines (like Kubota) will go 5000hrs without major issue and 10,000hrs before it starts getting more expensive to repair then replace.
I'm from Dublin IRELAND and we get very little Snow here maybe once every few years and it's normally melted and gone in a few days. But I'm Very Impressed with him Saying that EVERYONE GETS TREATED THE SAME if you are Buying 1 Thing or a 100. I wish more companies where like this because it would make life easier for Everyone. I Hate when you are Trying to Call a Company and it's Press 1 Or Press 2 and after 30 Minutes on Hold you still Don't get to TALK to Anyone and then the Call drops and you have to start again..DRIVES ME CRAZY. Companies have lost my Business because I can't get to TALK to Anyone so I've gone other places even if the other places are not a Cheap I'm not going to Spend Hours on the Phone to save a few EUROS €$€$€£$$
@Dirtmonkey thanks homie G funk. Love em. I wear truspec 24 7 expedition pants. Great warranty. Depending on color ypu buy on Amazon from 69$ to 105$ if you get multicam. Look em up tell me if you like em. I've worn mine forc5 years now no issues. Own 5 pair of almost the colors. Just looking for something new.
Their business model is really difficult to compete with if your into big box store for plowing. They buy the equipment, probably at very strap discounts. Then sell the equipment with limited use sage probably very close to what they paid since they get a discount. The equipment ends up costing very little to own for that single season. Since it costs very little to own, they have little equipment cost that they have to factor into their snow budgets. Hence while most of us buy a truck or loader and need to work it 6-10 hours per storm to pay for it. They can stock nearly double the equipment on every site since there is no equipment costs. They do the jobs much faster than everyone else. They are one of the few companies that can actually keep up in a true blizzard. Respect -
“We buy the machines to use them and then offer them for sale after one year of use.” I’m sorry but I don’t understand the entrepreneurial idea behind this. His statement makes it seem like Artic buys the equipment new and uses it for snow removal, subsequently making revenue on snow removal, then sells the unit after a year of use. Am I missing something here? I live in TN which has no snow. Does Artic contract snow removal? I thought they just made equipment for the trade.
Huge part of business plan is buying 1,000 321 loaders for example. They might pay 75% of what a normal 1 piecw of equipment purchase at a dealer pays. 25% savings on 1,000 machines is millions. Run the machine for 1 season and 100hrs. They sell the machine at used machinery low end market value and still make a killing on resale. Example only: New 321 is 175K but bull purchase discounts is 132K. They resell after 1 or 2 snow seasons with a hundred or two hundred hours for low end current used market value, say 155K. They make 23K per unit minus cost.. maybe after all said and done, 18-20 clear profit per machine. 1,000 case 321, 1,000 case skid steers 1,000 case compact track loaders 1,000 Volvo loaders Your talking 90 million in profit just on reselling all that equipment.
You guys should have showed the pressure washing location because based on all the rust all over those buildings and propane tanks basically there's going to be a years worth of rust on this equipment now granted 1 to 3 years worth of rust is not terrible but are they really popping the cabs and pressure washing all assault off of those machines who knows would have been nice to see the pressure washing location Plus I'm just a very cynical person So maybe it's worth the discount that you get by buying used and they did say it's not a rust bucket 🪣
I love the Arctic guys! I actually had the chance to use their stuff last winter, and it blew my mind. Keep up the good work!
Good stuff 👍
Wow! That's a lot of equipment ! This is amazing 😮 thanks for all the info Stan 😀
I gotchu 👊
Hilarious, "got a client looking for a higher hour machine, we've got a 242-hour machine for them".... That's still freaking new!
I know!
The hours on those is so insane. Every one of those machines will easily do 10,000+++ hours and they have less than 300 at most
You wouldn't wanna 321 with 10k hours of Chicago snow removal though.
Well said!
I bought a 321 and 621 from them last year. super easy process. 321 was ok, 621 had 110 hours and was just mint!!
Great to hear!
So Stan I guess you found your favorite equipment dealer, that gives you used equipment. That has low hours and is Brand New. 😊

It really is a fantastic plan they have developed.
Agreed

They used CAT prior
All the white Arctic plows are snow systems which is located out of Wheeling Illinois
Best candy store I've ever seen.
I knew he looked familiar I drive past that location 1-2 times a year and the lot is always full from street view but never been on the property. I did not know they sell after 1-2 years.
million subs coming right up! good job bro!
Crazy! What a program.
Holy cow that is incredible
Nice I’ve seen a few of the case snowplow loaders fun to see where they come from !
Just mind blowing
Pretty cool.
Brother the beard is lookin awesome 👍🏻
Haha thanks man
Can’t wait to see what Stan has in store for the winter!!
Nice infomercial
Amazing!
Is the follow up video out yet?
🎉🎉🎉🎉 to 1M subs
im shocked that they did not put snow tires on right out of the gate.
here to help
And as a Kubota dealer we can't get our hands on enough.
How do they make money when equipment depreciates? They must be getting them at wholesale pricing
Would love to go work for them
👍
I think they care more for the financing ? Is that where they make most of their money if it’s being financed with them. I think it’s the financing for them that they really want.

First interview from back of a truck because miles of iron 🤩
Crazy didn’t know snow removal was this big of a business….but I live in Texas lol they must have a lot of contracts to have that much equipment
How do the numbers work!?
I know he explained it basically but still hard to imagine. Pretty neat though..
The whole thing makes no sense , he is getting something out of this ,
With the economy, the way it is probably sitting on a lot of inventory Stan doing video to help get word out
Do you deal with the Canadian market ?
So that's a $200 million plus operation. Whose capital is behind them? Whoever owns Case and Volvo. Probably Vanguard and Blackrock. Just like everything else.
I believe it's owned by EXOR ,which is an Italian based company. At least the Case IH side is owned by EXOR.
Privately owned. A very, very, very successful family business.
AB Volvo is mainly owned by AB Industrivärden controlled by a Swedish family and by Geely
I'm a Mechanic, where can I fit in?
you should review the minitore...... not sure if I spelled that right..... ... meta tracks with dozer blade
I have seen it. I noticed a lot of them for sale with ow hours by random people. That tells me people don't like them
How in the world does that pencil out.
step 1: be friends with case and volvo
step 2: place an enormous bulk order so you're paying wayyyy less per unit

Step 7. Depreciation expense

Great tour Stan !
What’s the guesstimate on how many drums of Armor All they go thru ?
lol
There must be a LOT of snowplow contractors in that area to justify that much inventory. How do they make money on this equipment in the summer?
They don’t! You’d be surprised how much money is in snow
How do you even keep track of all the friggen keys for each unit?? how big is the room where they keep all the keys. lol 😅
What was that angled sectional plow at 5:35?
I can’t find them online, what’s the link ?
Is it a shop tour on steroids? Or is it skidsteer city?😮
I keep thinking he's saying BoBo not Volvo. Am I crazy lol
America’s wealth seems endless.
Use the zoom instead of handing camera back and forth
Are there any tract machines?
Track machines are not as good in snow so it's probably not part of their business model
I'm curious, what is the cutoff for work hrs on a machine. For example, when looking to buy a machine, what amount of hrs would you be like, "nope too many hrs not even looking at it.."
2,500 for me. But some guys who are skilled mechanics can take machines up to 10k hours.
Under 2000hrs will generally get you a solid machine. Ive seen side by side same model equipment tho where a 2000hr looks worse then a 5000hr. Depends on environment and abuse. @@jonblakemore6454 thanks for the info.
@Ubergamer256 Good to know. Thank you.
@@jonblakemore6454 thanks for the info.
Case can’t afford something else
Can anyone buy a loader from you? Asking from Canada.
👍

@stanleydirtmonkeygenavek please tell me what pants your wear in video and in most other videos.
fjall raven g -1000

Why a loader over a tractor ? Such as the Kabota m4 with a loader attachment ? Cheaper, faster & better on gas
3:20 was that really random or did he really just happen to stop at the only one with the pink ribbon
There were hundreds with different colored ribbons

Are they located in Kentucky?
Chicagoland area
SERVICE SELLS! PERIOD!!!!!!

Looks like a front for an illegal business. Not sure of any other reason for this.😮

1,000 case 321,
1,000 case skid steers
1,000 case compact track loaders
1,000 Volvo loaders
Your talking 90 million in profit just on reselling all that equipment.
They have 1000 accounts. Zero down time.
Arctic started plowing snow in 1978 and then started manufacturing their own snow removal products in the 90's.
@@keithwilliams3935
Thanks for explaining this. I'm very exhausted & it just wasn't making sense. Thank you.
Plus the equipment brought in revenue for that year or 2 I'm sure that loader makes $$ sitting on site even if it doesn't snow
all beat. trade that junk in.... i do it with trucks all day....and its case. id buy old case not new
Contact info?
i think he needs to shave off half his beard
Snow removal isn't the hardest industry on equipment 🤣🤣🤣. So why you buying it new and selling it only after a year or two???
No down time. There reported to have 1000 accounts in Illinois.
Something not right it’s a scam some how😊
Looks like a jeep dealership. Tons of vehicles. Who the heck is going to buy all these? Snow is getting less and less each year.
Unlike a jeep, just one of these is a main component to a $30-100,000 snow contract. These are assets not toys linked a Hellcat.
Too bad they use case and volvo, both are notorious for horrible service.
They will never sell all those machines
Wow, sounds like there’s some fat stacks to be made in snow removal who would’ve thought
It's paid for on call
Don't buy anything from dez scammer , buy directly from company or market
