@@Pizza_Master Please watch my video and I have the company name and cost also the size. I am doing some more project in my video to justify the cost. Thanks
Thanks… It was a pretty big plastic planter pot. It was approx a 7 gallon pot. Still holding up great with zero cracks. Just gotta keep it dry. Any other questions or comments , feel free to contact me. Thanks. Please dont forget to like and subscribe if u haven’t already. Enjoy friend.
Zero cracks so far on the outside mortar layer... prob used it 6 times now. Hairline cracks on the insulated concrete inner layer... but that seems to be par for the course.
lid broke, a tree branch fell and cracked it, gonna make a new one, prob outa metal. i have moved the tandoor a few times for some patio construction, moves easily with a Handtruck/Dolly....
Ahhhh… The great question. Pool supply store. They use it to put down on the ground before they put down a pool liner .. it’s soft and helps keep pool floor flat. I get mine at my local pool supply .. giant bag …. And …Cheap. …lol. U can mix it in with yer potting soil garden soil also to get rid of what ya don’t need. I keep in in a heavy plastic garbage bag so it stays dry in the shed. There are several uses for the stuff.
I actually used a level as I was growling on the final mortar coat. I would check it over and over as I applied the mortar. Any other questions let me know And don’t forget to subscribe if u haven’t already Thanks friend.
@@Pizza_Master Well, thank you for replying, so quickly and on a two year old video. I am planning on making a tandoori myself, which is how I found your video. Thank you for your answer, it helps a lot. I will for sure give you a sub because of your studious reply. Go easy bro!
Hey thanks. I am still using mine weekly. Zero cracks on the outside mortar. And I have moved it around the yard a few times also. If u want to use clay pots as the inside walls then insulated concrete then mesh then mortar… that would be great… than u could bake Naan on the walls. U can not do that with the insulated concrete. I have a Bux h of short vids posted recently cooking in the tandoor. Enjoy my friend. I will always respond.
@@Pizza_Master Wow thank you. I was actually wondering how that build was holding up after two years. I watched a couple of your recent cook videos to take a peek at the condition of the tandoori. I will be using your techniques with my upcoming build. Thanks again, go easy.
@@bajkul no problem my friend... sorry i did not respond sooner... if you have any questions , let me know i have been using for over a year and tandoor is holding up great,,,, i am even able to move it without any issues ... my only problem was the lid breaking after a tree branch fell on it.... if you wire and mortar the lid it will be much more strong, i did not do that cause i was trying to keep the weight down, thanks
Best tandoor video i have watched so far. Amazing detail.

I made same as your with perlite but it was getting hot outer side and now I redo with ceramic fiber blanket. Zero hot outside walls.
Nice. I was thinking about doing the same.
where did you order the Blanket????

@@Pizza_Master It is quite cheap for the size.
Awesome Technique 🤙🏼 very creative 😊
Thank you.... 👍🏻.... Preciate it
Very nice!!! This is the simplest design and build I have come across. What size pot did you use?
Thanks…
