I can't imagine the time and effort you put into making these videos. It's like watching an official documentary on 40k. Thank you for your enthusiasm.
God, this episode made me so emotional. So far I've only gotten fragments of 40k lore filtered through to me through songs, like "Rylanor's Last Stand" or "Flight of the Eisenstein". Like, I was so worried that Tarvitz's ship would be shot down, but then at 35:40 I cheered "IT'S THE EISENSTEIN!" (recognizing it from the song). God, did it relieve me to see a ship that could be trusted to be loyal to mankind. I cheered so fucking hard at 43:30, when the loyalists defiantly emerged from the ruins. "YES! LONG LIVE HUMANITY! KILL ALL THE TRAITORS! RAGE AGAINST THE DYING OF THE LIGHT!", I cheered. I also absolutely loved the humans enduring in the trenches and defying death. And when Lucius revolted, I paused, grabbed a sword that is hanging off my wall, and offered my service for a chance to kill the traitor, before realizing I couldn't actually participate in the battle and putting it back on the wall. When Garviel Loken fought Abbadon, I could just *feel* the utter rage. I yelled that I wanted to strangle Abbadon to death. And when the video ended, I saluted and swore to avenge the fallen of Istvaan III, before again realizing I couldn't fight for the Imperium. God, never has *any* sort of media made me this emotional. Nothing has ever captured me as much as a band of faithful humans desperately trying to fight back against the downfall of mankind.
You need to build yourself a little Space Marine Army. Start by playing Kill Team, which doesn't use a lot of models and go from there. You can play out any scenario you've ever heard about. All it takes is a little imagination and a willing opponent. There's so much great lore in 40k, so many cool factions, and so many battles for your little plastic Adeptus Astartes to fight and win for the Emperor.

Dude what a great breakdown of these scenes in the book. Having listened to the audiobook, it gets difficult to map some details of the geography. This just helps me paint a full picture!
Whenever you do shamanic and warp stuff in the future you should use the "ahhhhhh ahhhhyyyaaaaahhhhyyyaa ehhhhhhhhh" ethnic woman yelling song sound bit that Hollywood uses when they need to set the scene without text or exposition. This outstanding labour of love is truly and greatly appreciated. _Shoveling intensifies_
Man it hurts to see even their own gene brothers turn against them….basically a dad telling your brother to rid of you and your siblings…that’s dark!
The Fallen shall be forever remembered as the Emperor's finest!

Death Korps Time traveler's: GAS MASK BREATHING INTENSIFIES, Trench digging intensifies.
Fantastic work. The inclusion of the “Did we hurt them captain?” question really hit hard at the end
Henry Cavill better be hitting you up for writing tips for his TV show
I'm looking forward to Istvaan 5. May the Ravens have their Vengeance!
The Dropsite Massacre says hello, unfortunately...
by the emperor it's 52 minutes amazing
Dude this is truly amazing work! Can't imagine the time and effort you put into this, please keep it up!
This is MAGNIFICENT! 40K Battles broken down like WW2 Battles. You have done amazing work! Thank you for sharing your gift!
I’m going to be starting a 40k rpg with friends who barely know about it. Ima start at ullanor and make them play through this. What better way to break them into 40k then to be on the planet and fight their brothers
Great job!!!! I was just thinking about reading the books again but I cant find them. Thank you. This takes me back.
I’ve just started to get into Warhammer 40k lore and this series is just mind boggling good. We need more about the Horus heresy! Can’t wait!
Beautifully done!! That was better than a lot of hollywood movies. Thank you for bringing the books into a cinematic adventure.
That was GREAT!!! It was 2009 when i started reading hh books and I have read all multiple times. THANK YOU!!!!
4:42 imagine how different 40k would be if this really happened
This was amazing its what I've always wanted to experience the Hersey I hope more is coming, you rock!!!
I can't imagine the time and effort you put into making these videos. It's like watching an official documentary on 40k. Thank you for your enthusiasm.
I just finished rereading Galaxy in Flames. Simply amazing!
I remember the good ol' vraks stream.. how far weve gotten
Heart pounding to see this played before me again. Reminding me of when I first read about all this. Still hits me today...
Welcome to 40k brother, true 40k.
having read the books, I really love the visuals introduced. better fasten my pace with the others as I am waiting for the next video!!
Yeah that was absolutely unreal. Stunning work!
Bro your videos are unparalleled. You have by far the best format in all of youtube for telling the 40k story
I have no words just great job sir .
Didn't finish the whole thing in one sitting, but i definitely enjoyed it! I still consider myself new to the setting, so even if it is a topic I have seen before, there are always new little details to find!
Thank you Janovich! The Hype Train continues onward! For Calth! For Vraks! For Isstvan V! *FOR THE EMPEROR!*
Unbelievable video sir. I and many others will be there for part 3. Fantastic job
I love your videos my dude, I have no way to read the lore and this helps me a lot, keep going !
Easily one of the best 40k lore videos I’ve seen on YT 👌🏾🔥🔥I love the aesthetic, the detail, thank you
LETS GO NEW EPISODE YESSSSSS
Keep doing these please
I’ve read Galaxy in Flames Sooooo many times. I’m SUPER stoked to see a visual go along with the destruction of the Choral City! CERBERUS AWAITS!!!
Oh it's so so good... amazing as always
Very well done, I hope there's more to come in the future. You've earned yourself a new sub this day.
Janovich, excellent work on these 2 videos!
This is easily one of the best 40k doc's I've see, Well done Janovich.
Phenomenal this was your best video so far. I can't wait for the next one in the series.
Missed Rylanor in the video.
He was one of the resisting Astartes in the Siren's Hall.
And survived the final bombing.
Only to spit at the face of his primarc 10K years later with a virus bomb.
"The ancient awaits !"
Rylanor, The 3rd legion's Ancient of rite
he is in the video
@@Janovich
I don't mean it like "mention he was there"
I meant talk about his place in the fight that ensued in the Siren's Hall and the fact that he survived the onslaught on Istvan III.
This is a great video and I was sad one of my favorite character in WH 40K was barely mensioned in it.
The detail of this series is awesome, appreciate it.
Thank you for your work, this is awesome!
You just hear that song and you automatically know that your story is somewhere where women can't vote or drive a car.
I always imagine a zoom in on Culchis with that sound.
Or when Erebus (my autocorrect even trying to change his name to Arabia. Tell me I'm wrong!) gets his throat slit. Just - woosh oof ugh - then " *aaaaaahhhhhhhhhh yyyyyyaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh yaaaaaahhhhhh yyyyyyyyaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh eeeeeeehhhhhhhh* "
Girls : i cant belive he didnt cry at the Titanic , do men even have feelings ?
Boys :
This video is incredible. You're kings and generals for 40k. Best up and coming 40k TH-camr
This is awesome looking forward to the next episode
I didn't notice that it was a second part right until the end.
I've personally started with the Horus Heresy about a year ago and I just fi ished the 14th book last week.
These videos are very information dense regarding the most important events and they put everything easier into perspective when it come to the timeframe. 👍
Goosebumps just sapped my body of any cold, and lit it up like a furnace through the whole video,
Excellent work, Brother. Each episode has me on the edge of my seat and you outdo yourself every time. Janovich+ is my favorite TV channel.
thanks charles :)

As horus exited the lodge and everything was done, loken came forth.
"Warmaster, when you have the time, may we speak?" Loken spoke cautiously.
Horus was confused but nodded.
"Of course loken,but why-...nevermind."
Aboard the ship, loken and horus were alone mostly.
"Whats on your mind captain loken?"
"...before i say...will you at least have a open mind?"
"Of course, garviel what is this about?"
"Back on davin...i found this."
Garviel showed the blade. It was then horus was surprised.
"Thats the...where did you find this?"
"After the battle,i found this,we found out erebus took it during the interex war. I have my suspicions...but i believe something is wrong. In the lodge, did you notice anything strange?"
Horus was confused but thought...and thought.
"Well...i saw mag...nus..."
"Warmaster?" Loken said warily as horus crumpled to the ground.
"Captain...lo...ken...get...out of here! Warn the-!"
Violet energys swirled through horus from the wound as loken followed the orders.

Aboard the the ship, the vox ran as russ heard it.
"Lord russ, theres a vox message coming through trying to reach terran space."
"What? Patch us in." Russ was perplexed but wary.
"To anyone patching in, please if anyone can hear us...help! We were fools! Davin, the interex incident, word bearers chaplain erebus is-!" The vox cut off. Russ was silent as well as valdor.
"...my lord?"
"Get us full speed,to prospero, now,we must get to magnus, fast." Valdor spoke with haste in his words.
"Constantin whats going on?" Russ said mildly confused.
"Its as the emporor feared...it is coming..."
"...im not sure what it is your talking about my friend... but if there is something thats making loken of all people panic and send a distress signal...i only hope we can answer it.
Aboard the vengeful spirit, loken ran like the wind, until running into abbadon and torgaddon.
"Loken, what the hell are you doing running like this?" Abbadon spoke curtly as lokens face showed deep concern
"We were fools...we were bloody fools...those priests on davin...i dont know what...but erebus is involved. We need to find the word bearers and do something before the warmasters...possesion if you could call it takes him over!"
Torgaddon lay concerned.
"Loken what is this about, are you well?"
"Uh...actually i think the bastard might be on to something." Abbadon said as he motioned to a possessed and shambling horus. Loken looked at abbadon.
"Draw him away from the command center,we need to tell the crew to change course to somewhere within inperium space, contact one of the legions, anything!"
"Why should-oh fucking fine, torgaddon come on!"
As the wolves land on prospero, russ makes for the pyramid of photep.
"Magnus? What is going on,what happened?"
As russ entered...he saw magnus in the corner horrified
"I was such a fool...ive doomed us all..."
"Magnus, answer me damm it!" Russ demanded.
"I couldn't stop it...the chaos gods are on the move...and they are coming...weve been had..."
"...the vox message. Magnus, what is going on in the vengeful spirit, can you tell me?"
Magnus got up warily.
"The powers have there claws upon horus, even now he fights a war in his own soul...we are doomed..."

Dude, this video is exalent, you should look at submitting something into film/documentary festivals, you have a lot of skill and talent.
Oh man i love the stuff you put out, I know most of the horus heresy stuff from reading the books, but your Vraks Series got me to watch Arch's series on youtube and i cannot wait to see you go over the next park of the siege now that the forces of Chaos have arrived.
Excellent video! I look forward to the next one!
Beautifully made! Amazing and very well-crafted video
