- Here is my version of a Lamb and Beef Gyro. I use my Anova Sous Vide to cook the meat gently in a water bath, and then I use my Ronco Rotisserie to sear the meat. Finally, I finish the sliced meat off in my ripping hot, Lodge cast iron pan.
Please note: if you don't have a sous vide circulator or rotisserie, you may still make this recipe! Simply blend the ingredients together and put into the oven as you would a meatloaf. I do highly recommend all the equipment used in this video, however.
Ingredients for the Lamb and Beef Gyro Meat
1.3-1.5 pounds of Ground Beef
1 pound of Ground Lamb
1 1/2 Tablespoons of Garlic Powder
1 1/2 Tablespoons of Salt
1 1/2 Tablespoons of Dried Oregano
1 1/2 Tablespoons of Black Pepper
1 small White/Yellow Onion (I used yellow)
1 fresh garlic clove
Ingredients for the Tzatziki Sauce
2 cups of plain Greek yogurt
1 large cucumber
2-3 tablespoons of garlic powder (to taste)
1/2 small lemon, squeezed
3 teaspoons of dried dill
Salt and pepper, to taste
Equipment Used:
Anova Sous Vide, Kitchenaid Food Processor, Foodsaver Vacuum Sealer, Ronco Rotisserie, Lodge Cast Iron Pan

P.S: This is high and low carb. I include some modifications in my video. :)
Enjoy!

Thank you for this, it sounds and looks delicious, but who cuts a lemon in half the long way if they're going to use a lemon squeezer?
