Bridge, you are the same bright bubbly enthusiastic foodie I met so many years ago. Your love of food and what you do truly exudes. I love these sessions with you, you make it so simple and approachable. Not to mention your wit and funny banter. I love you my friend keep being you. I wish you so much continued success in the future.
τζατζίκι? well, if you want to do it closer to the way it's done in Greece (mind you lamb and sheep yiros is rare in Greece), try doing a butterfly cut on pieces of lamb or sheep meat. Then just cut the outside layer as it is grilled.
Hello I enjoyed your recipe and how you made the Gyro unfortunately I’ve tried to make it also but I didn’t have enough seasoning on it but it came out pretty good I needed more seasoning thank you have a great day and I’ll watch to see what other things you make. Stay safe
Holy crap, looks so simple and yet very expensive out there, will try it... loved how you showed both ways to bake the lamb, look exactly like the ones at the vendors... the Lamb Log they cut from... thanks for showing...!! Waifu material right there guys and girls!! You made this video so fun true trini style!!
Quick question for everyone how much is lamb in your area. It is extremely expensive where I live and hard to find $10-$15 USD a pound. I was in Atl a few weeks ago and it was under $5.00.
And in English it is Germany. In German it is Deutschland. Who cares?!?! Different cultures say things differently. In Greek it is eee-ro. In other cultures it is pronounced differently. Get off your high horse.
What you are saying is a fact, but even the vendors who know its original pronunciation say it is Gyros here. I learned the original name about a decade ago and was shocked to know it was already a popular food for a long time elsewhere, but this is what happens when cultures travel.
I enjoyed this episode and I enjoyed the young lady well done bring her back more often
My favourite episode yet! Thanks for unlocking the mystery of a street food staple. Well done chef!!🙌🏽

Yup!! I love gyros
Should’ve said, “you might cry a lil bit, but you know... joy comes after sorrow.” 🤣🌯
Hahaah
I didnt understand what you meant by "cheap" street food. Will definitely try this
Cheap means it's inexpensive, as in it does not cost a very significant amount.
Can we get the recipe for the garlic sauce please.
This looks so interesting and delicious. It's definitely healthier than the one by the gyro man with excess salt and oil lol
Nicely done Brigette... I think I spelt your name correctly... I forgot 😂😂😧
Great job bring her as a host

It's expensive here too. I dunno why she said that. LOL
So basically the gyro meat needs to be in a rotisserie, also known as spit roasting.
🥰🥰🥰😋😋
Girllllllll😋😋😋👍👍👍👌👌👌
Mmmhmmmm
🤤
👍👍👍
it is pronounced "Yeeee rows!"
And in English it is Germany. In German it is Deutschland. Who cares?!?!
Gyros is pernounced "yee - ros".
And in English it is Germany. In German it is Deutschland. Who cares?!?!
Lord she long and drawn out and BORING. This video could have been less than 5 minutes man JAH
It’s not Gyros it’s pronounced “euros”.
And in English it is Germany. In German it is Deutschland. Who cares?!?!
Different cultures say things differently. In Greek it is eee-ro. In other cultures it is pronounced differently. Get off your high horse.
It’s pronounced “ euros”. Not Gyros.
In Trinidad, we will say it how we please. Thanks

Portuguese does not use the letter k. Should we ostracize them for that?! It’s language in different cultures. Get over it.
Great.
