Meet the Bags Packed Family: Jonathan and Kelly, along with our three adventurous children. Nine years ago, we embarked on an incredible journey, leaving our home in Alaska, USA, behind to explore the world. As teachers, we were fortunate to find amazing opportunities in Chennai, India, where we spent two enriching years. Seeking new experiences, we then made our way to the United Arab Emirates.
Just as we were settling into our UAE life, the pandemic struck, but it didn't dampen our spirits. Instead, we saw it as an opportunity for another chapter in our journey. We moved to Indonesia, where we currently hold teaching jobs, and it has been a time of learning, growth, and connection.
As a family, we thrive on traveling and embracing the unknown. Adventures are our way of life, and through our experiences, we aim to inspire our children to be confident in meeting new people, trying diverse cuisines, and immersing themselves in different languages and cultures.

If just arrived in Bandung...try explore culinary at Lengkong, Mie Kocok near Train station,Braga Street, Loh Mie at Jalan Lombok(food stall), Sarae Hills,Tangguban Perahu Mountain, and Many things you can exploring in Bandung...

If the commercial operation is started for the newly built high speed train on 1 Oct 2023 from Bandung Tegalluar station to Jakarta Halim Station, you may be able to purchase the tickets. Currently until 30 Sep 2023, you can ride it by registered on line, if lucky to get free ride.

If you’re planning to go from bandung to jakarta please try the panoramic train. This route offers some of the best views and rail bridge architecture in Indonesia. Or maybe you can try the bullet train if you want to sign up for the public trial. Enjoying the content btw! keep em coming!

27:20 That's Cipeundeuy station in Garut, West Java. And to answer your question, no Java is not the biggest island in Indonesia. The biggest island is Kalimantan if we only count the Indonesia part of the island, but the real biggest island is actually Papua where you live (if we include the New Guinea's part).

Don't forget to trying high speed railway 350 km/hours jakarta to bandung. Usually by car 3 or 4 hours, but with high speed railway only need 45 minutes jakarta to bandung. Very fast. Open to public 1 October 2023.high speed railway the first in southeast👍

Fun fact java is actually the smallest of the 5 big island in Indonesia.
next month in October 2023 a fast train (bullet train) will be launched with a maximum speed of 350 km / hour, between the cities of Jakarta and Bandung, a distance of 142.3 km, only 35-45 minutes, currently being tested for 1 month and not charged costs, try checking on TH-cam...

Cottonwood boutique hotel looks like a family orientate hotel. I never see a hotel room with double deck bed plus an old nintendo game.
