- In this video of Living the Jo life, we explore the city of Bandung, on the island of Java, in Indonesia. We had an amazing time in Bandung. We were surprised how green the city is and how many Dutch colonial buildings there are. In this video, we explore some of the local residential areas right next to the buzzling Braga Street that is home to lots of restaurants, cafes, and shops selling all sorts of paintings. We jump on the yellow “Bandung Tour On Bus'' that takes you around the city, which is a great and relaxing way to see some of the main city attractions. After a coffee break, we visited the Masjid Raya Bandung (the Grand Mosque of Bandung), which looks impressive with its 81 m tall minarets. Next, we venture over to the biggest market in Bandung, Pasar Baru, which is certainly a shopper’s paradise. As the sun set, it was time to explore Braga Street by night. At Braga Street we ran into the famous TH-camrs and TikTokers, Rahman Z @RahmanZ and Dean Toisuta @Deanvieritoisuta At first, we didn’t know what it was all about until we realized that we were in fact their “targets'' for their prank videos. It was a really fun experience and it certainly made our visit to Braga Street very memorable. We had a great time in Bandung and we will definitely be back in the future.

Nice video and I enjoy it so much, anyway instead of saying 'selamat tinggal' you guys can say 'Apa kabar' as a simple hello and common warm greeting for local Indonesians.
In North Bandung, you can find tea plantations, cooler weather, waterfalls, more nature vibes
Restaurants & cafes (Punclut area)
Theme parks for family (Lembang Park & Zoo, The Lodge Maribaya, Jungle Milk)
Volcanos (Mt. Tangkuban Parahu)
In East Bandung you can book a ticket for the Sundanese Musical Performance in 'Saung Angklung Udjo', also you can check a place called 'Cartil' or 'Moko Hill' area, there are so many cafes with a good viewpoint of Bandung at night.
South Bandung is the same as the north, there're tea plantations, strawberry plantations, hot springs, and camping grounds (Kampoeng Cai Ranca Upas, Patenggang Lake, The White Crater)

I cant stop smiling....such a cute video what with all those sweet little kids...Love their little faces. I was inspired with all the smiling and welcoming faces of young and old. They all look so happy with their lives. I tried to count all the motor Bikes but ran out of fingers hundreds of times. Such a busy place and friendly people. This is probably the first time i see foreigners walk around through alleys in Bandung 😄. Turned out to be an interesting video, never thought that i will enjoy it so so much. Kind of seeing my city from a different view. I wish you all to have a good time in Bandung.
As for the suggestion, you can go North for cafes, culinary, shopping area, factory outlets, further north you can find mountains, green forest, and many more Or go south where it's packed with hot springs, tea plantation area, crater and mountains .

Bandung: Parijs van Java :) If You walk around Braga Street You can feel the vibes :)...Ahhh You were in Braga area. You can find also a hotel named Savoy Homann that Charlie Chaplin spent the nights while he was in Bandung in 1927 and 1932.

By the way, when you greet people in Indonesia just say "hi" or "halo" (Hello), and when you're leaving its okay to just say "Bye" (its a very common word for us to say actually) atau "dadaah~". "Selamat tinggal" actually sounds a little too somber, as if you're saying "goodbye forever" lol. Or you can say "sampai jumpa" when you leave a place or parting with someone, it means "see ya!" ... hope this helps, wish you guys a great trip!!

Actually, Bandung has 3 parts of tour destination. You can go to North of Bandung (Lembang, Ciater), which is full of Beautiful Forest, an active volcano Mountain and also hot spring water.
Then The Central of Bandung, which is the center of city, you can go to famous street like Braga Street, Dago Street, or sudirman Street.
Then South of Bandung (Pangalengan), which is full of some huge tea plantation and dairy farming, you can get some fresh milk in there. Fyi, the weather is colder than in Central.
Each of Bandung destination part are about 1 - 2 hours long driving car. Its 30 km away
Have a nice trip in Bandung, hope you guys enjoy our lovely city. 🙂
