They probably left the extra carpet because they heard someone was opening a card shop in 2017 and they knew they'd just be back in a couple months to change the floors again when the next tennant moves in (old carpet will be stained with tears)

Nah bro the carpet people ALWAYS leave extra carpet behind , always , Idk why , but I do construction and they always leave a bunch behind, also the drywall/ stucco people always leave behind bags of drywall and stucco , and the painters always leave behind buckets of paint.
And no trade cleans up behind themselves , painters over spray everything without care , drywall people get drywall on everything , they also pee in bottles and leave those behind , sometimes they even get drywalled into the walls leaving a terrible smell for a year or so after construction.
Seen a bathtub with poop in it today , they even left a nice new roll or premium toilet paper , Incase someone else wants to use the tub?

The Pokemon corner sounds like a great idea. Bright colored Pokemon product lit up with fancy LED fighting will draw people in, then Rudy can try and convince them to buy his thousands of Ultra Pro binders to keep their new Pokemon cards in.
I would turn that "Pokémon area" into a feature match area for FNMs and tournaments, them stream that table. Drives more people to play at the store, increases online presence, and keeps people coming back.

Rudy, I have the best solution for the front hallway- soda machines and snack machines and a large trash can.
this gives you another revenue stream and because it's a closed off area the heat from the machines keeping cool won't effect the store.

I hate to say it, but are you sure that two rows of tables, plus the employee area at the left will fit? One row won't be so crowded, but it's hard to tell the dimensions. Also, forget peeing in the garbage can, just leave the toilet removed and go right into the floor.
I don't understand why you spend so much time thinking about decoration and stuff. Just use a green screen as usual, Rudy.
How are you handling security and CCTV? None of the LGSes I go to (like 5) have security cameras and it's very confusing

Rudy, you should be careful showing front door keys, since a key could be cut to match from the image in the video, and the location is pretty much public knowledge.

If the place had a basement I'd say put the PKMN products there, but I like the idea of the secluded corner for all the lower-tier nerds to congregate. This place is gonna look REAL nice, but would we expect anything less from Rudy?

The Xmoda It's just annoying as shit that more and more adults are swooning over a more simplified version of Magic. Not knocking older people who like Pokémon because I'm 24 and still love the video games, because they're good RPG's. But it just doesn't make sense. Support a good game that is tried and true to be amazing. Support Pokémon too, but for fucks sake, don't drop Magic for it.
I don't play any card games so my opinion may not be so valid. I just dont see why I tend to see so many magic players shit on pokemon players/collectors
The Xmoda pokemon doesn't have the legs and is a fad as it was back in the late 90s. As r3ikobomb put it, the game is a way simplified version of magic and it has no investment status in original sets or any set moving forward. you need that economy, and a varying format system like magic's modern/legacy to stabilize a collector's market and keep people playing.

And, the glass signing idea sounds like it'll look like ghetto graffiti before too long. I REALLY like the idea of the card frame border however. You could maybe even have different frames for MTG card frames, Pokémon card frames, or whatever. Just build the frames in pieces: 2 vert sides and 2 horiz top/bottom so you can swap in/out easily and store away with little space consumed.
This is so cool. It's very exciting to see this come together. I love the idea of the signatures. I'm glad you will have a space for Pokemon.

The Pokémon corner is a decent idea.I choose the local store I purchase from based on Product availability, including items for my kids ie. Pokémon, Cleanliness/ Store presentability, Location and Staff courtesy.

In the pokecenter area, put four computers (2 against each wall), and turn it into a mini cyber cafe where Diablo 3 or CS:GO or anything is set up. Widen your target audience, Rudy!
