the reason why the abc islands is so dry, it’s because it's located just below the hurricane belt, the climate is dry, and there is very little rain. I hope this helps!
AS Aviation If you liked Aruba, then I think you’ll love Curaçao! It’s a lot quieter than Aruba and doesn’t have nearly as many annoying New Yorkers as Aruba does, lol. Hotel options are much more limited since they don’t get nearly the amount of tourists that Aruba gets, but there’s still plenty to see and do while you’re there
I got to fly a JetBlue a321 to Fort Lauderdale out if JFK. Very nice plane, great entertainment system and the WiFi worked really well. Unfortunately, my return flight which was into LGA was on an E190 with a similar looking interior of that a320 and the Wifi stopped working. I heard JetBlue was starting to phase their E190's out.
Yes, the A321 has a really nice cabin! Unfortunately, the wifi and PTVs on the older cabins are notorious for not working. Luckily, they’ll be phasing out all of these older cabins and replacing them with newer cabins/aircraft.
I have some questions about the project. Does JetBlue’s A320 still have the cabin you’re on today? Does JetBlue’s A320 still have the phase 1 retrofitted cabin today? How many rows of seats are in both cabins today? Is it an A320-232 or A320-200? This is because I’ve flew on their phase 2 cabin and I don’t know all about this refurbishment project and I want to learn what is going to happen in the future with JetBlue even with their A320s
MattyKart 85 great questions! Yes, jetBlue still has quite a few A320s with the old cabin in their fleet, but as I mentioned, they will all be upgraded to the phase 2 cabin. They do indeed have some A320s with the phase 1, and they have no plans to upgrade those for now. The original and phase 1 A320s have 25 rows, and the phase 2 A320s have 27 rows. The A320-232 is a variant of the A320-200, so technically both are correct. The -232s have IAE engines, and the -214s have CFM engines
@@TriStateAviationny Are the blueberry tail A320’s the old ones right? Where can i ask you some questions? I have some doubts with the retrofitting program!
@@joseadorno292 I don’t think the tail design reflects whether the cabin has been updated or not. JetBlue has been updating the tail designs on some of their planes, but it isn’t related to the cabin upgrades. What other questions do you have? I’ll be more than happy to answer!
@@TriStateAviationny Hi! Sorry for the late answer! I believe the Blueberry Tails (🫐) are the old ones. I have noticed that the majority of the “Highrise” tails are retrofitted a320’s and recently found out that some “Tartan” Tail a320’s are also retrofitted, i have been trying to find someone that is tracking it as i am but have had no luck, thanks!
Thank you! Yeah, believe it or not, this route is never operated by the A321. I don't think jetBlue has sent it to Curacao once. I think that maybe there's just not enough demand for them to use the A321 on this route. Aruba is much more popular and gets multiple A321s and A320s a day from New York, but not Curacao.

Gorgeous approach into Curacao. I almost booked a flight this winter there, opted for St. Kitts instead.
Absolutely! Hope you have fun in Saint Kitts!
Man I want to visit CUR one day! Been to AUA already, so CUR or Bonaire would be nice to visit in the future!

Great video as always! I remember I flew 706 from Nassau to JFK
Thanks Dean! That’s pretty cool!

yeah the e190s will be replaced with the a220s
Ah okay. I know Delta has been ordering a lot of the a220's.

Ethan Stein correct. The E190s may be retired earlier than expected due to the pandemic. I think about 80% of their E190 fleet is stored right now
alk61695 yup, Delta is getting a lot of those and replacing their 717 routes of out NY, Detroit and Minneapolis with the A220
Re you sure the next vids not coming out next month? Lol keeps the awesome vids up!!
Wow thanks Markian hahaha. Yes, it'll be within the next week. I promise!

One more question.
The cabin that you flew on this video, is it 25 rows of seats or 27 rows of seats?
@@mattykart8538 The one I flew has 25 rows. Seven rows of Even More Space and 18 rows of economy
I don’t want to fly the other old cabin, so maybe that can be a good thing.
Was this a Phase 1? Or just an a320 that has not been touched yet?
At the time I took this flight, it hadn't been touched. It may have been refitted with the Phase 2 cabin already, but I'm not totally sure

Hi wasnt curacao closed off due to covid to us travelers?
James Denaro Hi! Yes, Curaçao’s borders were (and still are) still closed to Americans. However, I took this trip last summer.

Oh, crap. I forgot about those. Thanks for mentioning that!
