Great video! GO BILLS!!! This has to be our year! If not ,its just not meant to be!😮 Buffalo is my hometown. Now in Clearwater,fl. Version 13 is amazing. Huge advancements! Some things to work on, fantom wipers, when home is my destination It blows right by the driveway like I don't live there lol. Starting an FSD drive when you are near a curb or bushes or any type of object, I'm still having to push the accelerator a bit to get it going. I know all these things and more will be ironed out in updates to come. Super excited. Love my Tesla as much as my Buffalo Bills 😂!

Sometimes it parks in a spot, sometimes it doesn't. Almost never does (note the almost) in ANGLE parking, as it hasn't been trained on it enough yet. More often parks in straight parking spots or parallel parking situations, but sometimes doesn't. Can't wait for the update with specific destination parking options, should be incredible!

Parking at destinations is an upcoming feature as stated on the release notes. Right now, it might park but not necessarily on a parking spot.

I think thats the least focus they have had. It will be awesome soon with parking. They will make it for sure soon.

@@TeslaVoltt For now, instead of navigating to XYZ Store, set a pin on the map where you would normally park. Navigating to an existing map pin often takes you to the loading dock because the pin was placed deep inside the store, so nav tries to get close to the pin. By placing your own pin on the map, you can get the car much closer to your favorite parking area and since the car will be surrounded by parking spaces, just maybe ...

When will this be the default current version available for everyone? I would purchase FSD right now if I was assured to get v13.

Make a service appointment. Disable/reenable advanced updates. Restart the car. Make sure it has good Wi-Fi access where you park it overnight. Just some suggestions.

Can you drive to a school zone? I have and it still doesn’t slow down.

Can’t you just cover the internal camera to avoid the “pay attention to the road” prompts? Would FSD still work if you did that?

      Nope

Yes, because the release notes only state "Integrated unpark, reverse, and park capabilities". It does not state that it will do it all the time right now.
The release note further state this for upcoming changes: "Support for destination options including pulling over, parking in a spot, driveway, or garage". So the deliberate action of it actively looking for a parking spot is to come.

I want to see Tesla license this tech to other car mfgs. Since the sensors are optical cameras, it should be easy to do. Tesla would sell a fewer number of cars, but the licenses cost Tesla almost nothing (like software) so it would all be pure profit. For each license, Tesla could charge exactly what their profit would be for selling one car. That way even if they lost the sale to the other car, they would "get paid" for it. Musk thinks big, and while he's the richest person in the world, he does have a strong altruistic streak. In 15 years you're going to have shops installing Tesla FSD in '64 corvettes.
