    This is the best, most complete review of Evictus so far, and I appreciate this production, which is helping sway me to install this

      @@evictuscomponents It sounds like 275/70R17 is the largest recommended size, but I'm interested in potentially doing 285/75/17. If I had the right wheel spacing, wheel well cutting, and renntech module for oversize tires
      (for cruise control, speed, etc.), would there be any other Evictus restrictions for that tire size?

    I would love to see a comparison between the Van compass 6.3/6.5 kit and the Evictus especially being that the evictus is almost double the price of the 6.3/6.5 systems. Is the evictus just the shocks or does it have other components. And for those that already have the 6.3/6.5 kits can the shocks simply be switched out without too much modification?

    • @VanLand
      @VanLand  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I have driven on the Van Compass 4.5 for years (same as the 6.5 but without a lift) and now I have the Evictus kit. It's really a completely different experience. With the Evictus kit, you can drive like a mad man and have fun doing it. The kit includes rear shocks and coil-over springs plus a front strut upgrade and heavy duty brackets for distributing the forces on the frame. The Van Compass kits currently do not have a front strut replacement, which limits their capability a lot. However, keep an eye out for the Van Compass Rally Struts which will greatly improve the VC kits. The good news is that all of the suspension companies are upgrading their kits so you, as the driver, will have a better experience than ever before.

    Thanks for the video. Is it better to outfit your van first, then upgrade the suspension system?

      I would strongly suggest so. Once you have the final weight established from the build, get the kit with the shocks tuned correctly to the current weight

    WOW ! This is a game changer!! Can this be installed an 4x2 Sprinter ? And what is the estimated cost ?

    • @evictuscomponents

      No, this kit is designed for AWD and 4x4 Sprinters.

    GREAT video but a few questions… max tire size? Compatible with aftermarket rear sway bar? With your experience across the different brands, do you miss the adjustability of others? Thanks!

    • @evictuscomponents
      @evictuscomponents ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Our recommended largest tire size is a 275/70R17. Anything larger than that can interfere with your adaptive cruise and would also require wheel well modifications and wheel adapters to accept anything of that size.
      As for aftermarket sway bars, as long as they use factory mounting locations, that shouldn’t be a problem. But the need for an upgraded sway bar isn’t fully necessary, as our kit is designed to reduce sway and help control wind management.

    Does this suspension provide any lift like a vancompass 6.3? If someone wanted a lift could you do a striker 2" lift and Evictus?

    I just installed van compass 4.3 with Baja brackets 2023 AWD. Is this suspension better then the van compass 4.3 ?

    • @VanLand
      @VanLand  ปีที่แล้ว

      The Evictus suspension is the best we’ve ever tested on a Sprinter. This is nothing against the other kits- they perform as well. It’s a situation where you get what you pay for in terms of performance.

    • @JasonConroy
      @JasonConroy ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'd take the VC 4.3 over the Evictus.

    I don't hear anything about how this works and why it's better at the off-road ... except not failing ... how does it work through pot holes vs a standard kit or no kit?

      The price is high, but it's designed to be rebuilt and used throughout the life of the van, unlike other "disposable" kits.

    • @VanLand

      You really have to experience it. The on-road performance is on point. When we do test drives with first-timers, one of the most common things they say unprompted is “I feel so much safer than in my van”.
