You speak to my soul. I’ve been wanting to find a bag that fits both my makeup and skincare but not being bulky too! Finally talked myself in letting this ambition go. Told myself it’s better to keep 2 small bags separately in case something in my skincare spills, I don’t want it to damage my makeup vice versa. Your reactions are fab! Loovveeee ❤
I have been using packing cubes since they came out! I LOVE that they keep everything uber organized! But I highly recommend the compression ones! Those are the best! One benefit for packing cubes that many don’t think about is that they may keep your items safe. On recent trip, my suitcase broke open while being handled, the contents all spilled out. But because I had everything in both packing cubes and pouches (I am one of those uber organized people) nothing was lost or damaged (other than the suitcase itself).
I love the Bagsmart toiletry bag, it has become my go-to every time I travel! And I have recently become a packing cube convert!! I have the Quince compression packing cubes and I'm obsessed with them. I totally get it now! The level of organization you can achieve with packing cubes is unmatched. Especially now that we have a baby, it makes it SO much easier to organize each of our clothing into our own packing cube. I didn't think about the perk of having everything contained if something happened to your suitcase! That's so great. Thank you for sharing and for watching my video!
Pencil cases. I have a gold matalic pencil case i use for brushes. Another bag i got from Home Bargins a few years ago in the travel section it was embroidered
Thanks for all this info. I put my toiletry bags that are fabric in the washing machine. The plastic inside has always done well. I always think I want to be minimal but honestly if I’m going on a fun trip I want options also. So if I have room for some extras I take them.
I am always so torn between wanting to bring options or bringing the bare minimum. It's such a struggle! Thank you for the tip about washing it in the washing machine, I will try that!
If you’re flying, all your liquids can go in your clean TSA bag and the rest should fit in the case. I use stick perfume, stick retinols for under eyes and toothpaste tablets and that saves alot of space too.
I feel you on the toiletry cases and sets. I was surprised I had five sets of them and then a few smaller ones. My friend and her two girls had a trip in the spring and needed toiletry bags and I offered to just give them. 🤩 I kept my favs and here I am, watching you share your favs 🤣
Hahaha, that's amazing. 😂 Honestly I also get so drawn in with the travel accessories, I just get so excited at the thought of organizing my stuff in the perfect way lol. It is on my list to FINALLY go through all of my travel accessories, so hopefully I can downsize a little and give some to friends as well! Thank you for watching!
I am considering this bag and this video was very helpful!! I think the medium will suffice for me as well. I have a good amount of skincare like you, but the ones I don't use alot of (or use everyday) like tretinoin - I put into those creams/serums into tiny travel clear jars and that frees up alot of space :) Thank you for this video!
I'm so glad this video was helpful! I couldn't believe how much fit into the medium, I was shocked that it zipped shut haha. I need to buy some nice little travel jars for my skincare. I have some newer serums I definitely want to travel with this summer but their containers are so big. If you have any recommendations for small travel jars that are good for skincare, please let me know! Thank you for watching! :)
Damn girl you are good at being minimal! Good job! If I’m going somewhere for 5 days or less then I put some of the creams in contact lens cases which are so tiny. Works great when I’m doing carryon as some of my makeup is liquid not cream. But again I’ll say I’m impressed!
Haha thank youu!! I was really impressed with myself too LOL. I have really worked hard to pare down when packing and I feel like I'm finally getting the hang of it! I love that tip about the contact lens cases, I'm going to try that next time!
I have used the medium Bagsmart bag for quite a few trips (air and cruises) and I LOVE it. There are enough separate sections to keep me organized between my toiletries and makeup. I have placed it unzipped so that it will fit in flatter if I need additional space. This will allow the placement of packing cubes on top. I also have the Bagsmart compression cubes. They keep me organized (by tops, bottoms, undies, etc. using the rolling method). I use the compression option only if I need additional space. Your video made me laugh when you found that you were able to fit everything in because that was exactly my reaction when I first used it. Great video!
Thank you so much for watching and for sharing!! The Bagsmart medium has become my go-to for every trip, I am still shocked by how much it fits haha! And like you said, it's just enough separation to stay organized, which I need. I've never tried Bagsmart's compression packing cubes but I should because they seem like a great brand. I've been recently converted to packing cubes and now I will never go back. I was sent some from Quince and now I see what a game-changer they are to stay organized. As someone who is a little bit of an organization nerd, it brings me great joy to use packing cubes lol!
I got the Bagsmart one as my toiletries bag, mind you it JUST has toiletries and nothing else. I originally got the medium size and then returned it and got the large size. Been using it for awhile now and I am really happy with it!
I have a bag similar to the first, smallest one you tested that I use for my makeup! I tour so when I travel I’m pretty much living out of my suitcase, and I can confirm that the lay-open functionality is great for being able to see everything and just makes me feel closer to my home organizational system for my makeup haha! Also just got a bag similar to the medium one (same brand, same size) and am hoping it works well for me on my upcoming contract. My last one felt like it was just a black hole for my toiletries lol
I hope you like the recent bag you got for toiletries! I really like mine for the reasons you mention, it's so easy to see and organize your stuff. I hate when I have to basically take everything out of it to find something haha. Thank you for watching!
Thank you for watching! I'm so glad it was helpful. :) My necklace was actually a gift from my in-laws who brought it from Istanbul, so I don't have a link or anything for it. 💗
I have and love the Bagsmart version of the diagonal zip case and it's very nice quality. No complaints here. The other bags you have are way to big for me. After watching you not fit your stuff in it...I do think you could slim down the skincare but you should take what you want girl! No shaming here. For me, I always carry on, so I have all my liquids in a tsa clear bag and then everything else I need fits perfectly. When I'm at my destination, wash/cleanse skincare etc., goes on the vanity, shower stuff in the shower and that leaves the bag to have the rest of my skincare and makeup.
I agree, I absolutely could bring less! I think my realistic skincare list when I'm traveling could be pared down to something to wash/cleanse, moisturizer, and SPF. So like 3-4 products? I'm always so tempted to bring serums and toner and then I'm like, GIRL you do not need all this stuff, especially if it's a shorter trip. 😂
I wanted it to work too! I think if I was only going to pack makeup in there, it could work, but I was really looking for something that could fit all of my skincare/makeup/beauty products. I'm still using the Bagsmart one I loved in this video and have used it on every trip since. It's perfect for what I was looking for! Thank you for watching!
Thank you, thank you for watching! This is the brush: www.target.com/p/annie-international-easy-style-professional-2-way-boar-bristle-hair-brush/-/A-76201303 In case the link doesn’t work for any reason, it’s the Annie International Easy Style Professional 2 Way Boar Bristle Hair Brush. 😅😂 I feel like it’s great quality, especially being only $4! 🩵
I just found one made by Bagsmart made in the same style as that weird black one. The colors match the toiletry bag options and they lay completely open like that :)
I've wanted to try so many Calpak products! It doesn't help that they're also super cute haha. Maybe I need to place an order and do a review. 👀 (I will justify any purchase by saying it's for my youtube channel. 😂 ) Thank you for watching!
Don't be embarrassed!! We all have a different amount of products we like to use and there's no shame in bringing a lot on a trip! :) The area I tend to bring a lot of is clothes and I'm trying hard to be more minimal about that haha. I feel like that first one would be perfect for makeup, it's a great shape for makeup! Thank you for watching 💓
Thank you for sharing this video! ! I purchased the replica myself and I absolutely love it! kislux I would never spend a fortune on a genuine item. I'd rather spend the rest of my money on vacation travel! ! But this is just my own choice and opinion
I got it off of Amazon! It has really come in handy! I don't know if this link will work but this is the exact one: amzn.to/3yJ7MZt If that doesn't work, the name of it is "JISULIFE Handheld Mini Fan, 3 IN 1 Hand Fan, USB Rechargeable Small Pocket Fan [12-19 Working Hours] with Power Bank, Flashlight, Portable Fan for Travel/Summer/Concerts/Lash, Gifts for Women"....that's a lot of words lol. Thank you so much for watching!
Your personality is the best I was entertained by watching this video all the way to the end😂
Thank you so much for saying that! That's so nice. 🥹 Thank you for watching!!
@@ChristieintheCity your welcome tfs!!!

kay, I’ve always scratched my head about the obsession around the kislux book totes and their practicality, but this one is adorable!! Congratulations

I had the same reaction to the diagonal zip pouch! I was so disappointed. I know I don’t have a ton of stuff but I really wanted it to work.
I wanted it to work too! I think if I was only going to pack makeup in there, it could work, but I was really looking for something that could fit all of my skincare/makeup/beauty products. You are so cute - thanks for the video! Very helpful
Thank you so much and thank you for watching!
I had the same issues with a diagonal zipper, so I threw it away.
I just found one made by Bagsmart made in the same style as that weird black one. The colors match the toiletry bag options and they lay completely open like that :)
Ah thank you so much! I'm going to go on and look at that now. :) Thank you for watching!

Thank you for watching!
You pack so few items I am embarrassed about how much I have.
The first bag you tried out is one I use just for makeup!!!!

I think with the first bag was intended for just makeup or toiletries but not both.
Thank you for sharing this video! ! I purchased the replica myself and I absolutely love it! kislux I would never spend a fortune on a genuine item. I'd rather spend the rest of my money on vacation travel! ! But this is just my own choice and opinion
And where did you get the fan? It’s so needed sometimes! And you are minimal!
I got it off of Amazon! It has really come in handy! I don't know if this link will work but this is the exact one: amzn.to/3yJ7MZt
