It's definitely not as straight forward as It sounds...
I have a Contract Sim card for DATA from MTN that I was not able to pay their monthly R250 installment . And they referred me to a company called *Saya recoveries* I don't know If this mean I'll be black listed or what

If you have been banking with a bank for a long time then yes it can definitely improve your credit in the eyes of that bank alone since you have sort of proven to be a loyal customer and you have a history with that bank... but it wont help with your credit score... remember it's all about borrowing money... saving money doesn't say much about your borrowing behaviour.
