RC181(1967)です。
First time I and my mates saw this bike was at The Dutch TT in 1966 with Hailwood and Redman riding it. After we had been to Le Mans to see the Ford GT40s. What a summer that was.
... and noboby would ever have believed that 4 cylinder 4 stroke 600 engines with even more power would be street legal today and good for 100 tkm of daily driving.
the videos made from this place are ALWAYS beautiful
I agree. I LOVE japan!

I am already watching this for an hour now, I am OBSESSED with this sound
wish this golden era of motorcycles did not end.. makes me drool all the time. good video @Deckay
That sounds glorious, what a growl.
Beautiful downshifts
Holy shit, an eargasm :)))) i wich i was born earlier to witness those GP races of the 60's
Go to" 1967 TT revisited" on you tube to hear the Honda 6 and this 4 at speed.. I was there at the Isle of Man TT .. Fantastic sounds!!
Aircooled, Carbureted 4-Cyl 😍
This sound is good but check out the Honda 250cc 6 cylinder. It will make your hair stand up.
Amazing sound
That is a beautiful sounding motorcycle.
One of the best sounds ever.
What a magnificent sound my goodness
one of my fave Bikes of all time.
Amazing!
Nice sound!!
beautiful
SOMEONE ONCE POSTED THAT THEY WANTED THIS PLAYED AT THEIR FUNERAL 🤣
Waaw that's Cool sound Man 😮😁😁😁
Absolutely amazing 👌💪
Yes !👍
This was NOT the first Honda 500 cc, the first RC 181 appeared in 1966 and had reverse cones on the megaphones. This is the RC 181N. Read my book "Honda's Four Stroke Race History 1954 ~ 1981".
Who is the lucky bastard that got to ride that??
Amazing
Saw Hailwood and Agostini at Mallory Park in the sixties, something you never forget.
Yeah, going round Gerrards at Mallory, what great memories.
@@geo7652 Have just completed the Tamiya model of the six. Cant stop looking at it, beutifull machine.
Could those white clad Honda technicians achieve anything less than mechanical perfection? Sounds perfect as well! (I speak as a witness to Hailwood dicing with Ago at Brands Hatch in 1967)
nice
Like music to your ears sounds glorious
Perfect
I wonder how much power you can get out of the new CBR500 if you get inside?
Mike Hailwood won the TT on a 500cc Honda... he beat Giacomo Agostini...I think he had trouble...You must believe Mike rode the the wheels off the bike
At lower RPM, it sounds similar to a 180° firing twin cylinder.
Helloo Mr. Deckay_F. May I insert your video (from 03:35 until 05:00) about RC 181 in my video for my youtube channel? because I want to make a video about RC 181 for my youtube channel. I will add the credit/link source from your channel in the video and in the description video. Thank you before.
When it comes on cam it almost sounds like a two stroke 😁
Definitely, sounds like a big suzi kettle with pipes on
Da terror escucharla
Nothing like the sound of handmade exhaust systems!
These exhaust were definitely NOT hand made!
indeed, hands, elbow grease (biceps), + blow-torch heat, + mandrels, and a lot of skilled brazing & careful usages of files, along with mathematical equations for the many specific dimensions, lengths & angles = Beautiful Petrolated Revving Sounds
The RC181 was a great bike but it needed a Genius rider like Hailwood to get the best from it
You forget that Jim Redman won the first two races on the RC181, and had trained faster than both Hailwood and Ago on Francorchamps.

Real sound the godzilla!!
WOW!!!! I'm in love
The track needs to be 4 times bigger
Honda engineer don't need a long track to test their engine.. Just listen to the exhaust to ensure that the bike is fast enough or not.. 😂
Weisst Du Milchbubi überhaupt, was das bedeutet?
Kawaii
Sounds better at 'Speed 2'. :))

holy shit
My granny used to drive faster on her way to church
Must have been a very religious person!
Oliko Ilmajoelta?
Itellä meinas tulla kakka housuun, kun olin vaimon vaarin kyydissä siellä.
Pappa 80+ ikää päästeli melkein satasta neljänkympin rajoituksella...
How much is this beautiful bike worth today.lots and lots of say
Amazing!
