It depends on the neck measurement you have. I would tie it & see how much extra you have in the back

Awww sorry. I think I assumed everyone knew how. There are some diagrams on the web that show how step by step if you give it a google.
ok so you def answered something I had been wondering for some time. Do I need it to look the same on both sides? Is it mirrored? Yes.
I am trying to use fabric scraps to make a bow tie. How much width do you need of fabric at the widest part of the pattern?
