1983 Husqvarna 250cr install top end and run leak down test

This #video follows the process of putting the #topend back together on this 1983 #husqvarna #250cr #motor. We run through #glazebusting the #cylinder to remove a couple of marks and the clean up. Before reinstalling the #barrel and #head and torquing them down before the #leakdowntest unfortunately the results of the leak down test throw up a bit of a major issue

I had a few of these raced MX and Enduro in 80s .
Durable never blew up .
Clutch plates wore out but not much else in 1980s .
Japan bikes dominated so Swedish Husqvarna sadly went out of business.

They ate great bikes for sure. The crank cases on this one are not well cast which is causing me a lot of issues!

JB weld epoxy seals tiny holes .
