About a year ago I bought my first hybrid car. It was expensive, but I was determined to reduce my carbon footprint. About 60% of my drivetime is electric. It takes about 3 months to use 1/2 to 3/4 tank of gas.

I was 18 years old. My first time in a gay bar, with my best straight friend, after lying about my age... There he was, the man of my dreams. His incredible eyes locked onto mine, and he smiled coyly at me. I quickly turned into Beaky the Buzzard from Warner Brothers... "uh huh... no, no, no, no, no... uh, nope" But as I looked up again, he was on the move my direction. He confidently walked up to me and in a deep, sexy voice he said, "Hi. I'm Drew." I opened my mouth and with every bit of 18 year old confidence I could muster, I said, "I got on new socks!" ... the rest was sort of a blur as my knees went weak, my vision blurred, and my ears only heard my best friend's voice, "Smooth one Russ. Real smooth." To this day in that town they call bombing at a hookup bar "pulling a Russ". 🤭

I'm currently going to college for environmental engineering and I get so excited when people talk about being better for the environment! I've started growing my own garden and herbs and started composting and I always bring my own water bottle to fast food restaurants so I dont use plastic, and dont get straws or plastic bags or to go containers (I bring my own containers), ect...but yeah I just love you and your content so to use your platform for something good is amazing!

Brought back so many sad emotions for me. My first was sixteen and lasted two years. I really thought this was forever until he just stopped talking to me completely. My family moved soon after and I didn’t see him again for twenty years. Feelings are still strong and he is as handsome as ever. It took several months to feel normal after that.

@@andrewgoesplaces I remember it being the first week of middle school I was about 11/12 it was the first time I ever felt these type of feelings and there he was in my PE Class right away I knew I liked him, any chance I got I try and caught a glimpse of him creating all these fantasy's of me & him together but sadly I don't think he felt the same so I kept my distance right away cuz I was afraid of being outed but one good thing did come from it I never quite understood myself until I meet him things started to make sense
Ah! So you were a trumpet player...that kind of makes sense. ;) I was a percussionist, and while I did snare drum a lot earlier in my band days, for my last three years of band in public school, I was an auxiliary percussionist because I was the youngest person in my section my sophomore year and got relegated to things like cowbell and triangle...but then got so good at those that I ended up having to stick with them afterwards, even though I was the "administrator" of the percussion section (and learned that others were better at other things than me, so it would be best for them to play them!). But one of the advantages of being a percussionist was that in addition to having a lot of time to socialize amongst ourselves since we hardly ever got called on during band class to play on our own (which meant we had tremendous philosophical conversations every day!), we also got to see and hear everything and everyone else in the band, which was good because there were a lot of cuties in band that I then got to look at from behind! I don't have any stories like yours associated with band...mostly upset and lack of even getting to a point of telling anyone I liked them. Oh well...! ;)
But on the real my first romance was like EVERYTHING ugh. We save love simon and held hands and he was my first kiss it was such a good day. It was WILD. Great videooo

I Was in the band in middle school, and high school. Whoever says being in the band is a dork they are idiots. Being in band was one of my greatest experiences in my life. I loved being in band it has taught me so much about music. Making friends and going on trips.

The first time I think I was ready for a relationship, but the guy wasn't is quite the story. I just turned 18/graduated HS. He was older, in a nearby town for an internship. I would sneak away making an excuse to my parents about where I was going (Graduation parties etc.) All the while I was going out to his apartment to chill and cuddle on the couch. We never got sexual though. The end of that summer when we were going to opposite ends of the state for school resulted in me coming out to my parents. We had something special and we kept in touch through the years, he's even met my parents now. Ah, fond memories.

I'm currently going to college for environmental engineering and I get so excited when people talk about being better for the environment! I've started growing my own garden and herbs and started composting and I always bring my own water bottle to fast food restaurants so I dont use plastic, and dont get straws or plastic bags or to go containers (I bring my own containers), ect...but yeah I just love you and your content so to use your platform for something good is amazing!

Brought back so many sad emotions for me. My first was sixteen and lasted two years. I really thought this was forever until he just stopped talking to me completely. My family moved soon after and I didn’t see him again for twenty years. Feelings are still strong and he is as handsome as ever.

@@andrewgoesplaces I remember it being the first week of middle school I was about 11/12 it was the first time I ever felt these type of feelings and there he was in my PE Class right away I knew I liked him, any chance I got I try and caught a glimpse of him creating all these fantasy's of me & him together but sadly I don't think he felt the same so I kept my distance right away cuz I was afraid of being outed but one good thing did come from it I never quite understood myself until I meet him things started to make sense

Ah! So you were a trumpet player...that kind of makes sense. ;)
I was a percussionist, and while I did snare drum a lot earlier in my band days, for my last three years of band in public school, I was an auxiliary percussionist because I was the youngest person in my section my sophomore year and got relegated to things like cowbell and triangle...but then got so good at those that I ended up having to stick with them afterwards, even though I was the "administrator" of the percussion section (and learned that others were better at other things than me, so it would be best for them to play them!).
But one of the advantages of being a percussionist was that in addition to having a lot of time to socialize amongst ourselves since we hardly ever got called on during band class to play on our own (which meant we had tremendous philosophical conversations every day!), we also got to see and hear everything and everyone else in the band, which was good because there were a lot of cuties in band that I then got to look at from behind!
I don't have any stories like yours associated with band...mostly upset and lack of even getting to a point of telling anyone I liked them. Oh well...! ;)
But on the real my first romance was like EVERYTHING ugh. We save love simon and held hands and he was my first kiss it was such a good day. It was WILD. Great videooo

I Was in the band in middle school, and high school. Whoever says being in the band is a dork they are idiots. Being in band was one of my greatest experiences in my life. I loved being in band it has taught me so much about music. Making friends and going on trips.

The first time I think I was ready for a relationship, but the guy wasn't is quite the story. I just turned 18/graduated HS. He was older, in a nearby town for an internship. I would sneak away making an excuse to my parents about where I was going (Graduation parties etc.) All the while I was going out to his apartment to chill and cuddle on the couch. We never got sexual though. The end of that summer when we were going to opposite ends of the state for school resulted in me coming out to my parents. We had something special and we kept in touch through the years, he's even met my parents now. Ah, fond memories.
