Powerful feature with JDAMS for sure. I never noticed the little cross hair cursor but I also wouldn't think to hit TDC depress and 2nd time. Super cool. Cap - hope you're back to giving us more of your great tutorials. GR vids is largely credited with getting me proficient on DCS years ago. Your library of detailed tutorials by aircraft is legendary in my opinion.

You could drop a bowling ball from that height and still destroy the vehicle.

Hello there Grim! How about a Morocco vs Algeria showdown? Morocco's got F-16s and Patriot pac 3, while Algeria has Su30s and S-400. Given the real-world tensions between these two, I think this be really cool video.

Up to now, I thought this offset is for dropping laser guided bombs on moving targets. That´s how I used t up to now. Point-track, then set an offset to add some lead for the LGB.

Glad to see you featuring the Hornet again, I bought the 15 but I just have more fun in the 18 between carriers, etc...haha I activated that mode where you can slew around the tpod without actually moving it by accident and had no idea what happened, good to know!

I wonder if this could work with the IR maverick?

How do you get the camera to stop moving with the bomb?

Hey CAP, do you plan on test or using the new Olympus DCS mode which turn pretty much the game into a real time strategy ? From what I've seen, it could be really useful and interesting for your different dynamic campaign and wargame stuff !

When I started DCS back in 2020, I got what was listed as recommended system, I7, 1660 Super, 16GB RAM, 50GB hard drive, Logitech/Saitek x56 Hotas, Logitech rudder pedals, and a track IR head tracker...it ran me about $2000 for everything. Now my system is considered the low end to run DSC.

F16 + cbu105 + tpodALWAYS now Falls long. Im pretty new to f-16 but have used those that much, that the havent been so inaccurate before. Sry for littlebit offtopic, but when I pointrack target with cbu-105 should it drop parachutes so that pointrack point is the "middlepoint" of the are, OR is it just the point where the bomb opens and drops its clusters / chutes? SHOULD I target littlebit in front of target or is that just a bug? JDAMS fall right on target, also with hornet.

Does f-16 btw have somekind of correction?

Could be speed related maybe? 🤔 Like if you’re over a certain speed it causes the CBUs to overshoot? Try going slower and see if it still happens? Then again, too slow my undershoot for all I know.

I believe you get better results when when setting a lower burst altitude. Not how it should be but it's the way it is. I set a BA of 900 or below.

Yeah, if I remember correctly over 450kn they start to drift. Gotta try in ME maid range without any winds and missiles shooting at me :) Noticed this while playing Wild Weasels over Syria campaing. Great campaing though. Makes one use its "hifiest" systems. (had / recon / dlink and some jammer stuff). In dlink they fit nicely with those "new" datalink upgrades (TDOA etc).@@kevinmccallister1343

Let me guess next video is Ukrainian plane vs Russian AWACS.
