    I was on the first team to equip the USMC with the capability of this pod. Their crews (VMFA142) loved this pod. We were Boeing testers on the E/F program that went to NAS Atlanta for a few weeks of fun

    Maybe explain, that you can now use the Zoom keys (or corresponding HOTAS Buttons) to also go through Narrow/Norm/Wide view angles. So unlike the Litening pod you don't need two seperate controls.

    Reportedly this pod provides both navigation and targeting FLIR modes. But when its locked on the target, how can it provide navigation, for which it must be pointed straight ahead?

I'm kind of a mix of angry that I didn't know that and happy that I now do I'm angrappy.

    Hi , I am following your video. The laser designator switch does not stay in the arm position. It goes back to safe evey time I tried to turn the LTD/R ON. How can I turn it on. Thank you. I really like your videos

    • @grimreapers
      @grimreapers  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes this is how it works. You have to reset the switch after every drop.

    • @Horus00X
      @Horus00X 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@grimreapers Thank you admiral. However, it goes down although I have not done any drop. I turn the ATFLIR on and it works no problem. The LST laser goes to the ON position with no problem. But when I move the switch of the laser designator it never stays in the ARM position. It does not matter if I have done any drop or not. Sorry, I was not clear in my first question. I never goes to the ARM position

    Please do not use the Matt Wagner way of explaining things! Instead of telling people to click buttons, showing us what the problem is and how to solve it, plus alternatives for completing the task. And reflections on the effects and efficiency are much more engaging and meaningful! That’s also your old way of making excellent tutorials.
