I enjoyed this so much. I'm half Jamaican and grew up in Brooklyn. I miss my Jamaican mommy and my uncles and aunts. They are all gone. This brought back such good memories. I had tears in my eyes the whole time.

She did so well with the dogs but the dogs also sensed her fear and were kind enough to give her space. So seeing her willingly pet the one dog and allow the other at her feet was wonderful.

Everything looked delicious. My grandparents lived in Trinidad, where I learned to eat, Roti, Crab Callaloo, Bloodpudding😳, Sauce, Sorrel and lots more. Mauby I learned to drink in Aruba where I’m from.

This was awesome! Mo, how was hanging out in a Trini household? Did you enjoy the food? It looked amazing. Mel, I understand your phobia with the dogs, as I was attacked by two dogs when I was six and it took me over 40 years to overcome the trauma. It will eventually get better and if you feel uneasy just let everyone know and hope they are accommodating and understand. That trauma is so debilitating and until you've experience the situation it's important to get support. Overall, you looked great and so glad your aunty was surprise. Happy week.
