    thank you so much for posting this, i’ve been debating whether to buy one second hand and this definitely convinced me! i want something better than my phone, and as you stated for the 500 range you convinced me it’s worth it

      hehe your welcome Eduardo. A few tips for you before you hand over the cash to the seller. Check the shutter count. Easily done in the menus. Check the battery compartment. make sure free from any rust. Battery health, although the fuji batteries 3rd party are cheap online. check lcd for any cracks. take a picture with the cap on. look at the image on screen, your looking for dead pink pixels. if you get one or 2 its fine. make sure all the buttons work. and when focusing, its not the quittest camera out there, but just make sure the focus motors work. check the condition of the front element. make sure you get the front cap, that piece has a history of falling off and people lose it. good luck and have fun.

    I have been using fujifilm for about 2 years now, and i absolutely love them. I have an x100t, xe2, and xt2. And between those 3 cameras i've been able to take some of the best photos ive ever taken in my life. the x100t was the first fujifilm camera i first purchased after getting rid of my canon 6d. I thought i was done doing paid work so i wanted to get rid of the big bodies, and just use my camera for hobby purposes. But as soon i switched and bought the x100t, i had someone reach out to shoot a wedding. And i shot a full 8 hour wedding, with just the x100t, and that was honestly one of the best weddings ive ever shot. Since then, i purchased the xt2 for professional work, and i picked up the xe2 for my back up camera. So new gear is not always necessary. Limitations allow me to be more creative, and for me to really think of how a compose my shots. But these "old" cameras are more than capable of doing anything i need a camera to do.

    That is a very good camera, the features and options are really good and also the picture quality from it is really good and looks like it was shot with a full frame digital camera.

    Funny thing. I keep seeing your reviews because we have a lot of the same equipment. I’m looking at an S or T version so I always have a camera. I loved Velvia back in the day.

    Nice review. Just picked one up used like new for 500 buck for my girl. I shoot sony and actually have fun with this cam. It's a little like shooting on film again.

    I got one of these from Ebay, like new. It's a great (little) camera. The T has USB charging, integration with iPhone and face focusing.

      Vahagraphy it really is. It’s small enough to put on my belt and take out. And I know I won’t do that with an ILC.

    Cool thing bout this one is u have the option to get some lens adapters that work like filters so u can go for 50 and 70mm.

    I was still using an X100s until just recently when I upgraded to an 'f'. To be honest, the only reasons I upgraded to the 'f' were the shutter on the 's' jamming and I didn't want to buy another used camera as a replacement. I found an 'f' for a great discounted price at a local camera shop, since the 'v' had come out, and jumped on it. If my 's' didn't start having issues I probably never would have upgraded.

    • @Vahagraphy
      @Vahagraphy  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Can you tell me the major upgrades you see from the F to the S as far as picture quality and features?

    • @jimmyhill9591
      @jimmyhill9591 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Vahagraphy I'm not a pixel peeper so in practical sense I will say picture quality may be a bit better. I do however prefer the colors from the older sensor in the S a tiny bit(minor subtle differences and personal tastes). The auto focus is definitely quicker and more accurate. Since I'm primarily a portrait photographer the 'face/eye detect' is nice and the joystick is certainly an upgrade. Lastly, since I use the teleconverter so often, not having to dive into menus to correct for it is a bonus as well.
      I use X-T2's for my primary work(corporate headshots) but on top of personal use the X100 gets used for online dating shoots. Since those images are going to be viewed through dating apps on smart phones, the image quality of the S was more than up to the task. Like I said, if it weren't for the failing shutter and not wanting a used camera I would still be happy using an S.

    These are steals now in 2021. I just got one that was just open box for $415. Seen them go for under $400 on rare occasion.

      Yah these are good deals. If you were to choose between the x100 S or T. Everyone says get the T, big time upgrade from the S and amazing price point.
