Very powerful song and the story behind this song is so angering and sad. Imagery of this video is so strong that shows the feelings that we all have but we necessarily do not have the strenght to do. I hope that this song is inspiration to all of us to notice how the people around us are surviving even though it is not always so easy to intervene
Thanks, tack, for taking a stand in an important thing. I love youre band for that. We all must stand for the weaker, no matter adult or child or color. This doesnt mean that i would support bringing all people from third world into our countries. They feel better in their own culture anyway.
Knowing the story behind the song along with the beautiful video makes this song so much more powerful and emotion than I ever experienced before!
Powerful song . Where you can not realise it's happening and sometimes action needs taking and justice needs too be served in other ways.
This song was written in memory of a girl by the name Yara who got beaten to death by her aunt and uncle after she got sent to live with them.
It takes 2 months to say anything about this song and video, it is hurting. It is so sad, but same time it gives hope for all of us. This is our life. Thank god, somebody cares.

Riktigt grym låt med en bra gjord musikvideo. Så sorgligt att detta ska hända i vårat samhälle och att socialtjänsten inte ingriper i tid. Vila i frid Yara
+IAmNotLying socialtjänsten ingriper inte eftersom de oftast är överbelastade med jobb, vilka jobb rör det sig mest om då? jo ungdomar som gillar att röka lite braj då och då, många av de efter första gången de blir tagna med THC blir stämplade som missbrukare och läggs in på olika institutioner vilket tar enormt mycket av deras jobb eftersom de måste ansvara för de när de är på institutionerna med att följa upp hur de har det, besöka de osv. Nu säger jag inte att ungdomar ska röka på utan att man ingriper men det finns prioriteringar som är mycket större med barn som mår psykiskt dåligt eller har hemska familjeförhållanden. Jag vet detta eftersom jag jobbar med dessa ungdomar, för mig handlar det om prioritering istället för att driva häxjakt på ungdomar som röker på eftersom det kommer de aldrig lösa på det sättet, det handlar om att ha en annan aproach tll ungdomarna, inte straffa
+Ejup Ganic Det där var det mest kvalificerade skitsnack jag någonsin hört... Jag har jobbat på behandlingshem, och således varit mycket i kontakt med soc. Det ska gå LÅNGT om dom väljer att skicka iväg någon på behandling, eller ens samtal. Sånt kostar nå djävulskt med pengar, ca 90 000:- (mellan 2700 - 3200 per dygn) i månaden (på ett behandlingshem alltså). Och dom behöver inte "ansvara", visst bär dom ansvaret för att behandlingen ska gå som det bör, men det är personalen på behandlingshemmet som ser till att behandlingen sker. Soc ska komma på möte en gång i kvartalet.
Och som svar på att soc bör lägga mer tid på ungdomar som mår dåligt så faller det, oftast, i samma fack. De flesta röker för att att dom mår just dåligt. Problemet är ju att det finns för få socialsekreterare. Men sen kan man ju vänta på steken och säga att om nu alla ungdomar gav faan i att ta droger så skulle dom inte ha så mycket jobb.
Jag anklagar inte, med det låter som att du är väldigt bitter på soc, så förmodligen har du, eller någon du känner, råkat ut för just det här. Det är väldigt lätt och skönt att skylla ifrån sig på andra, då slipper man ju ta ansvar för sina egna handlingar....

In 2014 a poor girl named Yara Alnajjar was beaten to death by her uncle and his wife in Karlskrona, Sweden. The social office was informed several times about the girl's situation but did nothing. Musatsch made this song to honor Yara and bring attention to children in need of help in abusive homes.

The true masculinity is the opposite. To be a protector of those weaker.
And this is based on a real case where the eight year old Yara was sent to live with her uncle and aunt here in Sweden. But they abused her and in the end beat her to death.

My daugters friend is like "leftover" an she has safespace in our house. This hits so freaking hard. Kinda stupid to see, that we are more interest to know how she do at the school than shes parens do. Im glad that we can give her so safe space.
