Yeah the entire legal issues that prevented the episode from coming out had to do with the fact that not only did Kesha write it, she also originally sang it. But she had been in a legal battle with her record company for years, and they definitely couldnt release the episode with her having written AND singing it. So they got Rochelle as an amazing singing replacement, and Kesha's legal battle was settled shortly before the episode came out which is what allowed it to be released.
I really wish Vivzie would release an album of the songs because the sound effects from the episode can be distracting. Fortunately, Caleb covers them all for us while we wait on that.

Sounds of drinking/eating, movement, splashing, etc. If you're just trying to listen to the song and not watch the video, all of that becomes very obvious and distracting.
