Characters are from Jujutsu Kaisen, and the song is Hitchcock by Yorushika ( • ヨルシカ - ヒッチコック (MUSIC V... ). I also posted a version with in-video subtitles, if that's more your cup of tea.
I hope this song still makes sense in Japanese, even though I shortened it. I don't know Japanese, so I mostly relied on translations. I feel like this should have been more dynamic than it ended up being, but I kept being lazy with the poses, and also I didn't want to do video edit stuff, so.... y'know I should probably work on drawing more dynamic poses at some point. I think my art improved though? (tbh I still don't know how I want to draw Fushiguro) Also, I used Flipaclip.
Not sure what's coming next, but we'll see! It'll probably be one of three things:
1. Another Jujutsu Kaisen Animatic (Maybe "I'm at soup?")
2. A Mao Mao Analysis Video about how Mao Mao's internalized expectations about "Heroes not crying, or showing weakness" is a metaphor for how harmful toxic masculinity can be (It really affects his self esteem and willingness to show weakness, and the show is super wholesome in how it encourages Mao Mao to open up)
3. A cutesy/sad Ghosting Animatic that's been on the back burner for awhile (wip link: • Ghosting Along | Mothe... )
4. An analysis of the Great Pretender that takes the form of a dialogue where I argue for and against it. For fun, not like to make anyone mad, though it might.... kinda risky...

I love jjk so much!!! The song really captures Itadori's character journey. Itadori is just plunged into this world of Jujutsu Sorcery, where bad people prosper, good people die, and being able to just enjoy his youth seems impossible - even though, as Nanami says, being a child is not a sin. He wants a simple life, to be able to believe in what he is doing, but life is getting so difficult and complicated that he can no longer live without suffering, which ultimately begs the question of why the suffering is worth it. It was really heartbreaking to find that he is venting to his dead grandfather, who cannot give him the comfort he needs, being dead and all. The lyrics in the song match that really well and the art is amazing! Plz make more!
