Thank you Kaylee and Jared, for sharing your story.
I also had anxiety since I was 6 years old. First time was just these weird little panicky feelings, then many years later I had another little episode, went away, then again many years later it came back again. And every time it 33:23 came back it was worst than before.

If you have been trying to overcome this but are still having symptoms, still having anxiety, are we wasting our time with unnecessary suffering by not taking medication? I have been doing this for 2 months and have made snail pace, my life is passing by, marriage and 4 kids are suffering, agaoraphobia keeping me from fulfilling my duties as a father and I have seen that antidepressants have given peoples lives back, my brother in law who is a GP prescribes lexapro and has said that his friends who are on it have gotten thier lives back without this need to do mentorship’s or just waiting one day for your anxiety to just go away! I wonder if this “medication free” recovery is futile?

My advice would be that if you do decide to take medication make sure you seek counselling as well. I made the mistake of letting antidepressants do all the work. 11 years later they have stopped working and my anxiety/depression is the worst it has ever been.

@@lazzaromorrone2063 does that mean for 11 years you lived a normal life, I am struggling with agoraphobia and I know there is no quick fix but looking for better management to overcome it with medication. Thank you for the tip, meds and counseling.

@@miasorry yeah it was reasonably normal. I had occassional panic attacks and bouts of depression but found myself highly functional
