Thank you for great recipe! Bit stuck here at the end... I used oat cream instead of pure cream because my mom is lactose intolerant. I can't thicken the mixture at the end, and I'm wondering how would I best go about thickening it to be able to smear it on the cake? Or am I doomed to just a creamy substance?
Almond meal includes the skins of the almond and the texture is not as fine but I am sure you could use it. Almond flour would probably be better because it is lighter and cleaner.

You can substitute cream with cream without lactose. I am lactose intolerant too. Hope this helps
