I hear you! I’m not going to wear myself out kicking a Harley. Been there, done that. I must of spent almost a year fine tuning an old 49’ Pan to start easy. The main trick was getting an Easy Start 2000 electronic timer. 3 volt coil. Starts 1-2 kicks no matter if cold or hot.
Old harleys don't need oil pressure they need volume....as long as it gets oil its fine but he is beating his bottom end to pieces with the low idle....idle up dude
The most unimpressive kick start I've ever seen.
I’ve never heard a Harley squeak like that. I’d feed it some fuel, sounds like it’s about to starve and die too.

exhaust 100%. stock old volkswagen beetles do that too because of the pea shooter tips.
