This is a slice of American history. The Chicano culture of SoCal has had such an influence all across the world. Good to see it captured and preserved so well right here 🇺🇸 🇲🇽

This is Harley!!! You can not find this with other motorcycles manufacturers. 120 hp?? Who cares when you are cruising on boulevard, 88, 96, 103, do you need more?? Not really. My very first comment in years of being watching youtube videos is to congratulate you Matt, an awesome video.

Grew up around this style of bike in TX. I love 'em. The effort that goes into building this style of bike is crazy. You can only really appreciate them when you get up close and see how each fine detail was covered when considering what parts to upgrade. I've seen some of the best custom paint schemes on these bikes.

Laidlaws Harley is such an iconic dealership. This was my dads go to dealership back in the 60's and 70's and I remember going there many times as a kid. Back then my dad built choppers so the long and chopped frontends is what I was used to, but I remember the first time I saw a cholo style I was hooked and is what I build still to this day. Thanks for the vid.

I lost intrest in Harleys about 2 years ago. Had Fat boys,Road Glides, street glides etc. My favorite bike off all time was an Evo Wide Glide. Yet also lost intrest in that. Had multiple Liter sport bikes, again lost intrest. Multiple injuries and crashes may have made me lose intrest. But realized I don't meed to go 200mph and drag a knee anymore. I'm 50 now and the bikes in this video is getting me interested in motorcycles again.

It’s a very fascinating aspect of American culture how subcultures have impacted the American way of life, from food, TV, clothes, vehicles, etc. Really love HD’s story in this case: immigrants from Scotland built up a powerhouse motorcycle company, and the Hispanics added their touch to their motorcycles to give it their own style. Just amazing.
I saw a Viclas style HD (I believe it was the same as the purple one in this vid) in the UK at the London Ace Cafe recently. Very cool styling language. The fish pipes are extremely loud, and they sound awesome.

Awesome video as all of your content, great to see the perspectives and hear the history! So awesome how the love of bikes can bring everyone together!

One of my favorites so far! Don't abandon the core content but it'd be great to see more documentary style content about the culture around the LA MC community and the larger MC community.
