Super day at Baron's Grange for the annual Coakham Bloodhounds Christmas Eve fancy dress hunt! Moose was very well behaved and just about put up with all the tinsel on me! It was extremely windy however and there were a lot of bits of costume flying around! We had four fun hunts with some nice fun jumps, and then had an amazing tea afterwards :)
For anyone worried about what we are hunting ~ the hounds follow the natural scent of human runners who set off ahead of the pack - no other scent is used (whether animal or synthetic) and there is no killing involved - the runners just get licked at the end of each hunt.

Loved your ride today on Moose, looked like a lot of fun. Would you be able to reposition your camera so that we can see what is happening in front, rather than the ground around you. It makes for a better video if we are able to see what is happening and also what the jumps are like before you get to them. I used to own horses many years ago, and I love watching videos of people riding, it brings back so many lovely memories. Hope you had a good Christmas.
