After another stressful day of teaching, how wonderful to come home, grab a cup of tea,a cat, and sit down to watch your beautiful videos. Postage stamp anything is my favorite so to find this video w your curtains and Liberty fabrics .... could not have been more perfect . Thank you for sharing your artistry and your delightful personality.
Hi Kate. The Liberty prints are so pretty. Love your postage stamp curtains and the Lavender bags were lovely. I hope you are enjoying your summery weather. Take care and see you soon xxx
I'm in Adelaide, South Australia and the day started with a totally random and violent mini tornado storm (luckily no damage to my home), it's day 1 of a 7 day covid lockdown so I'm working from home, and then my suburb had a power outage. However it was a good day, now ending with a cuddly doggo, a soft knitted blanket, a warm cup of tea watching one of my favourite TH-cam channels :)
What a positive lady! Thank you. The way things are between the weather and the virus it sure can be difficult to keep your spirits up. Blessings to all those struggling with these and other challenges😘 em in Virginia 🇺🇸
I rewatched the video and suddenly I noticed that the funnel you used had something familiar ... It's the one you use to put salt in the dishwasher ! It has a larger lower part that allows you to insert the lavander easily without having to push it through the common funnel with a stick, as I had to do when I made my lavender bags and took me ages to complete the job . Enjoy , you and Anna, your holiday , Elena Italy
Such pretty lavender sachets!!! Your curtains are gorgeous!! Love the quilt on your sofa also!! Such a fun, relaxing Tim watching you as I crochet granny squares and relax a bit!!!
Thanks Kate, hope you, Anna and the family enjoy your time off. I hope you manage to get some time away or even enjoy your own garden and surroundings xx

Hi Kate, so glad yourself and Anna are taking a break. You both work so hard at everything you do and we on the LGS benefit immensely from your talents. I've just managed to obtain a stall at a local market that is commencing on the 1st August so I'm really buzzing about that. I'll be able (hopefully) to sell some of this fabric I've stashed for ages and then be able to buy some Liberty fabric. It's all designer stuff I have but upholstery weight and I would love some liberty.Take care have a wonderful summer and a good rest. Lynne (Sunderland) 💐💝🦋🌻🌞
Fantastic gift idea for the girls in our family! I was amazed when you showed the length of the series of windows you made curtains for! Thank you for doing this! I’ve gone back some but this is really nice. Have a wonderful rest of summer!
Have a great summer break. Not so great in Blue Mountains, NSW where it's not only is it freezing it's windy and we are in lockdown. Great time to catch up on my patchwork, and I love scrappy! I will enjoy your rerun video
Hello Kate, each week I look forward to your vlogs and I eagerly await to see what new crafty thing you are going to share with us. I finally finished watching all of your videos and I have loved every one of them. Thank you.
Kate, so enjoyed the revisit of postage stamp drapes and lavender bags. I could almost smell the lavender listening to your description. The shipping room is lovely and blessings on Anna for helping it run so smoothly. You take care and enjoy a nap or two in your peaceful tree house. Loving summer blessings!
Hi there thank you for sharing your videos I enjoy them a lot also thank you for sharing how to make your curtains I want to try and make them for my craft room. Enjoy your time off hope you get to do something fun and get some rest..Thank you again for all you do for us to enjoy.
So glad you are taking down time. Following Arne and Carlo's lead maybe. It really is good for those of you who have poured out so much for your communities. Running "reruns" is great fun actually. When you do start again you will be fresh and full of new ideas. We both win, haha. The shipping room must make both you and Anna so happy. So efficient. Maybe around Christmas I can make another order. The exchange blew up my budget but I have so enjoyed what I ordered. Tea towels everyday. Happy Summer Holiday!
I hope you and Anna have a wonderful break. Enjoy and get some rest (not gonna happen) and we will be here waiting when you return. I love the postage stamp quilts. Years after my dad passed away, mom took his shirts and made quilts. When the pieces she had left, she made us pillows with the postage stamp pattern. Some day I will have me some Liberty fabric!!!
Hi, I know this video is about 7 months old but I wanted Kate to know that she has inspired me to make a postage stamp quilt curtain, just a small one. And today …. I just sat down and shorted scraps into size and colours. I don’t think I have ever done that before, lol. Thank you.
Thank you Kate love seeing this again I forgot about you making Lavender bags with the gorgeous Liberty Fabrics. I liked it that much I'm having a go myself today 😊
I saw this video before and forgot about it. You have given me an idea for a glazed window by front door. With the hot summer western Canada is getting I need to make a curtain. This will be a small fun project. Many thanks for your inspiration.
Ya threw me off posting today, but it was a welcome diversion. Wow you made a lot of bags. Thank for the refresher on how to do those squares. Enjoy your "free" time. Anna seems to be a light in your life, that's 🙂 nice.
Good to see Liberty fabric today. Was organizing yesterday and ran across my.small stash of Liberty yesterday. I had plans to make my kitchen curtains of Liberty.
I’ve been wanting to watch your postage stamp block video again so this was perfect! I was one of the lucky ones that purchased a lavender bag from you several years ago and it still smells so yummy! I keep it by my bed for peaceful sleep and if I have one of those days where I need a little calming I scrunch it up and take a long sniff!😌 Enjoy your well deserved break.
Hello Kate, I love all those windows in that room the sun probably comes in so nice and I love that you love your home. I have made so many things from watching you. Enjoy your summer😊
I love the curtains everything y'all do and showing and she need a break good take a break I love everything that you do and show so thank you for sharing and happy sewing crafting and everything else so stay safe out there be careful and thank you so much for sharing🧵🧶🧵🧶🧵🧶🧵🧶🧵🧶🧵🧶😇😇
Enjoy your break Kate & Anna...this was nice because I had not seen you make this postage stamp block. (I thought, poor Kate is going to kill her eyesight sewing each one of those little squares). I'm not a quilter, can you tell. The quilters of the world have my deepest appreciation for your craft. Have a Blessed day.
I think a break is well deserved! I always wonder how have the energy to do everything you do. You are amazing. I am so blessed to see how your family has rallied around you and your TH-cam and Patreon endeavors. I know they are a big help. Enjoy your break - don’t come back too soon. We’ll wait. Love from Colorado
Now that was really cool to see Kate...the entire run of those curtains. If you've shown them before I missed it. Thanks for the older video since I hadn't seen that one yet...fun idea with lavender and postage stamp blocks.
So often I think of something you’ve demonstrated or shown but it’s so hard to go back through the 3+ years worth of videos to find what I’m looking for. I wish there were a way to somehow make it easier……like a card catalogue with a description of what’s covered on each video……I know, that sounds impossible😳🙃. I guess I’ll go back to day 1 and make notes of the content covered for myself. I think that is why you are sometimes asked the same questions over and over by new subscribers. Never mind, we love you and enjoy you sharing your life and knowledge with us. Enjoy your summer break.🌷🌹🌻
Hi Kate, I am head over heels for liberty fabrics, thanks to you! :D I made a list, months age, of what order I want to make things for my house, and the postage stamp curtains are very near the top. I will be making my curtains for my kitchen, trying to decide if I want actual curtains or some sort of shade. Enjoy your down time, xoxo's Sandie
Loved seeing all the different quilts next to the sofa. Your curtains are awesome i am inspired each time i see them. You are such a talented lady. Long may it continue.x
I bought one of the lavender bags. I keep it at the head of my bed between the pillows. This morning when making my bed, I picked it up and smelled it. It still smells as wonderful as it did the day I received it. 🕊
Love the little sachets. Thanks for showing this nice little rerun. It's new to me. I haven't seen all your videos yet, so wonderful to see it. Have a nice vaca.
Hello Kate, just like getting a quick post card rather than a long letter. Make sure you do get a little rest in there with all the busy ness. Mid winter here, but golly it is a super sunny morning with the sun shiing on the sea.
Good Morning Kate, (love your name) I live in Marshall, MI close to the fairly famous Battle Creek which is the home of Kellogg's. Anyway, I am a quilter, like to garden and do a variety of other art outlets and very much a fan of J.R.R. Tokin. Reading the Hobbit as an assignment in a High School English class in the 70's. I went on to read the Lord of the Rings trilogy but most enjoyed when my childhood sweetheart would read to me, Dan was an actor and musician and could pronounce and do the voice characters perfectly. Well that was it....I love the book series , I was pleasantly surprised and happy that the movie trilogy was done very well and watch it often even if it is background while I am doing other things. Speaking of DVD's I have a nice collection and would like to send you a few DVD's as a blessing to you for all you do, sharing your knowledge and gift for life.
Hello Kate. I’ve been thinking of you lately. When I watched “Cruella” and Emma Stone went to work at Liberty, I smiled…hearing you talk about Liberty fabrics for so long. Also last night, on Hulu (not sure you get this), I watched, “McCartney 3, 2, 1”. Excellent series about the Beatles. I hope you can find it!! Well Kate, enjoy your time off from filming. Take care.
WOW! Your video was an easier way of doing that type of square that I’ve found! I knew you can use that method for different sizes of squares. Please enjoy your down time. Take care and stay safe and be kind to yourselves forever and always.
Enjoy your break! My daughter is expecting my first grandchild at the end of December. She wants pastel colours for the baby's room so I bought beautiful, pre-cut strips in pale rainbow batik on spec. My daughter loved the colours and the concept but decided she would really like it if the colours cascaded in rainbow order rather than patchwork. So I'm re-watching to see how I can do postage stamp but in an organised fashion. Fun times!
As I watched that (a 2nd time for me) I got to thinking...what if?? What if I sewed long strips of various widths (I have a LOT of 'strings'!) -- say, 4 or 5 at most -- and then cross-cut them into blocks...and made "wonky" postage stamp blocks? Hmmmmm....might have to experiment! Have a lovely break, Kate, Anna et al! Thanks for all you do!
Thanks for the video. I hadn’t seen that one before. I certainly understand how you might want your Sundays back, but I will really miss coming home from church to watch you and your “boy band”.
You are one lovely funny lady...admiring you more n more as weeks pass by...much love to you Kate

Beautiful! Thank you Kate!!! I had no idea! I thought you stitched each individual tiny square! Good to know it is much easier!
This was made before I knew of you. I just purchased 50 linen bags for lavender bags. These are so pretty. I may send the purchased ones back. ❤️❤️
Enjoy your time. Love to watch old videos.
I enjoyed that a second time around . The first time it inspired me to make lavender sachets from my scraps and it has done it again.
Hi Kate, I am head over heels for liberty fabrics, thanks to you! :D I made a list, months age, of what order I want to make things for my house, and the postage stamp curtains are very near the top.
