So, characters like Boy with Earring, Nanjo, Maya, Katsuya, etc. all must be active during the Dark Hour, right? They'd probably be freaking the fuck out, wondering what's going on during that time.
The "real" answer is that the dark hour is seemingly localized to tatsumi island because Makoto only experienced it for the first time when he returned to it, I don't remember if they showed them experiencing it on the kirijo resort thing, but if they did you could say it's because of them being tangled with Tartarus and nyx. The actual answer is that every persona game's events are localized to their own games. P4 and P5 characters should remember the apathy syndrome, even with its weak connections and not completely confirmed continuity, there are some events in P2 that SHOULD be remembered by people in P3 onwards, so it seems that most likely they don't.
@@wumbojet So, I'm now wondering what it would be like to enter this Dark Hour AOE if you're an ordinary civilian, would you just automatically transmog into a coffin as soon as you do? And if you look at it from the outside, do you just see a ton of blood, and a green sky, etc.
This is the video that convinced me to buy the game and jump all the way back in. I played p3fe back almost a decade ago, on ps4 but could never come close to beating it because I didn’t understand the rules of the realm, then tried p5 in 2016 and couldn’t beat that either p5R came out and I played over 200 hours devouring that game. Beyond excited to get lost in this one after loving the characters from way back when!
I always use a guide to optimize these games. They're 100 hour games, I want to see every piece of content that I can in a single playthrough. Most guides available don't spoil anything. Persona is a series where mind goblins will ruin your experience. Using a guide actually improved my experience, robotic or not. These are some of my favorite games even after using a guide.
I did that with Royal and managed to max everything out with nearly a full in-game month of free days left over. I think the game gives you enough buffer that you can complete most, if not everything without a guide if you have a decent idea of what you’re doing. Even if Reload isn’t as generous as Royal, I reckon I’ll be alright.
Tbf every entry seems to make maxing the game guideless on your first run easier than the last. It’s easier to 100% P4 OG than P3FES, easier to Full P3P than P4, easier to full P5 OG than P3P, and waaaaaaay easier to full Royal than any entry so far. Wouldn’t be surprised if P3Reload is the easiest one to 100% so far.
“Average Level? 5? Where you at?” That reminded me of reaching the end days of P5 OG and suddenly seeing everyone jump from average level 40-something to 70 in like, 2 in-game days. I swear I got a MGS “!!” over my head. Learned about the Reaper cheat later that week. Wonder if something similar will happen in P3RE lol
Persona 3 HISHE: Police discover a dorm of dead students with self-inflicted gunshot wounds to the head. Nearby teacher arrested in connection to the event.
I wonder if the game crashes if you try to sell a Nihil weapon. I forget how that how i did that, and i could do it each time. It’s been since that happened.
Remember when persona 5 came out and you weren’t even allowed to stream it or post videos of it? It still boggles the mind to think that now they’re sponsoring people to stream it. I feel like we’ve come full circle as an audience watch an outdated Japanese company realise that streamers are their friends.
You can see where they were coming from though. Although some might be encouraged by an online preview to go get the game themselves. There are those kind of people that would rather watch someone else play a game instead of buying it. Which hurts sales.
Nah, Atlus is open about this one because its a story everyone knows already, if it was Persona 6 you bet your ass they would be throwing copyright claims everywhere, Fatlus didnt change much
Correct me if I’m wrong, didn’t P3FES also limit him to 1HSwords? I played OG P3 and P3P, I thought the whole “limit the Mc’s weapon” thing was a FEE addition. Regardless I was hoping they’d let Minato equip gloves or axes again. Jack Bros Gloves for Life.
its kinda weak that they limited the MC to just Swords. My strategy for grinding in FES won't work now as I switch MC's weapons twice as I have the MC do 3 runs on Tartarus with different party members as they tire out. But since they did away with the Fatigue Mechanic for the remake, it still makes no sense why they're limiting the MC to just 1 type of weapon.
@@jled787 The setup I once did was really fun, where I turned Thor into Mjolnir and equipped that before pulling Thor back out of the compendium since I believe he had passives that boosted both axe and lightning damage. It was really fun just embodying Thor and smashing stuff with Mjolnir.
@@TheChubbyLink The idea of having to check every area in every location, every day or risk missing out on keys to open chests is just about the most tedious thing I could ever imagine being added to Persona. It would be fine if they were just found throughout Tartarus.
there are only 17 on the overworld. guess how many you need to open every chest you come across? way more than that i can tell you. anyways, P4 had chest keys. this is that by another name. get over it, penislord.
Not gonna lie I actually hope they continue to play this beyond the sponsorship.
Me too. I wanna know how Reggie feels about the story
Same, I want it to keep going
Woolie has already said that he will keep paying but he didn't specify if it would be on or off stream
I think it’s pretty likely they run thru the whole thing on stream. I wouldn’t worry
I'm hoping for the same, this has been great so far 🙏
Really hope this keeps going, would like to see Reggie’s reaction to stuff and more of Woolie’s gushing.
Missing out on Woolies and Pat's reactions on a full P5 playthrough bummed me out so much. I'd love to see Woolie gush over P3R even more.
Hearing Alejandro Saab and Liam O’Brien share a scene almost immediately reminds me of the “deep voice contest” bit from Family Guy.
I would really love to see them continue this
It’s so great how Liam O’Brien is still in the game but just playing an adult character now
Alejandro Saab (CY YU), Akihiko's new VA, has said several people who were iffy about his role are now on board with his performance.
Does Woolie know that Akihiko’s VA is a VTuber?
@@pizzacrescent1080Woah woah woah why you trying to make Woolie hate Akihiko like that?
@@PotionSmeller I thought he’d mesh well with Alejandro
