It would get a laugh out of people when ever I would do the "pull your shirt off to fight" thing but I would just slowly start taking off my layers of hoodies. At first I did it because I could use them extra layers as make shift pillows or blankets in class during winter but people would keep asking why so I just kept doing it to be memorable to them. it's nice being remembered with a character portrait rather then just flavor text if that makes any sense.

Too bad it's not in this episode but I loved watching Reggie's reaction to the rooftop fight. I don't think the main character knew what he was doing, he just saw a gun and the first thing he thought was "Yes!" And then pulled the trigger. He was very disappointed that a persona flew out of him instead of his brains.
I think the Fem-C route ruins him because he won't stop whining about how a *girl* is thier leader and how *messed up and backwards* that is. The Junpei I know from the OG PS2 game would never! He's a good character.

Persona 2 IS is still to this day the most batshit insane RPG story of all time. I don't even like Eternal Punishment that much, but I would KILL for an Innocent Sin remake.

yeah, kurusu was just one of the basic names chosen for him before the anime adaptation. it doesn't have the same intentional meaning the way his anime/canon name does.
Man, if Reggie reacted like that to the watered-down look at Yukari trying to Evoke, I think he'd be really shook by the original with the running water and heartbeat.
It destroyed my mental health (negatively) when I was one hit away from killing the final boss and one of my confused teammates used full cure on it. But it was a great enough game that I not only came back to it...I beat the boss and immediately started a new game for a best girl Mitsuru run.
Honestly, say what you will about Vic Mignona - and I can say a LOT - his channeling of his inner slimeball really fit Junpei better than anything else.

I think the music fits the new aesthetic and voice direction (the game is way "softer" now) but some of these in engine cutscenes ain't it! Thanatos's intro just feels off despite the slightly more red coloring making it look more bloody this time.

There's a LOT of stuff - some of the music in particular - was neutered in this version compared to the original.
