The fact that he offered on average almost $2 per game is impressive. In my area most shops would look at all that and either not make an offer or offer 10 cents ea.
It’s great that he almost gave you half of what it goes for compared to market value. So it ended up with $4 per game for the trade in value. Which seems he is super generous guy :)
I wish we had shops like that around here. I just have Pawn America's on every corner that are pricey as hell. I think my closest decent game store is a decent 6h drive 1 way.
@@theStepFamm Not a long drive since hes in Lexington. Pretty quick to get to knoxville from Lex. (2 hrs). Looks like he went to Clarksville which is around 3 hrs.
Those WoF & Jeopardy (also on PS360) were made right before THQ went out of business when THQ still had the license, & are the last games in the series to have the likenesses of Pat, Vanna, & Alex.
@@Carlospere-l9s got to much life to live to let things like that embarrass you. Just shows you try to fit in with the people you don't even know and THAT is embarrassing.
That version of Wheel of Fortune is the only one I've ever seen that has Pat Sajak in it. He is a very private person and doesn't put himself to be in anything you can buy other than the actual show DVDs, etc
That's awesome man, to the people that give you hell. They don't realize that what you do is hard work. Oddly, I sell most of my low end games at CD Exchange. I dunno about gamestop...they sometimes make me feel like a criminal. Feels like im selling my plasma to get beer or drugs
I was cringing so hard whenever he was telling the camera how much he was going to be reselling this crap for, how does the guy at the store tolerate this?
I've been noticing lately that several channels I watch intersperse good content with "funny" video clip reactions. Really not my style. I'd prefer to watch a video "straight," without all the fluff. (Maybe that's just me.) Take this comment for whatever it's worth, Phoenix.
It’s really to keep retention up. He doesn’t have many ways to switch up the video in one setting the entire time so he’s kind of stuck doing just that.
Caleb all your videos are excellent and seeing you able to do this for a living is incredible. i need to cut my collection down more so I can invest in more Switch games. It's just hard trying to decide what to part with. Cheers to all your success
I just wanted to mention that you inspire me to try out reselling games locally cause where I live reselling internationally is impossible, and its coming out very well and I enjoy it a lot, thanks bro!
Awesome video. Great to see you found someone that will work with you. There was a lot of games / work involved with that trade / purchase. A lot of stores wouldn’t have wanted to have to put the work in.
Not sure if I am too late to guess but I am guessing you have 425 games. I will now go back and see if I am right lol... Love the intro you always make me laugh!
You should look into the guy game on xbox and ps2 that game has great value cause it was pulled from shelves due to a legal issue. Also leisure suit Larry games also sell very well and playboy the mansion. All games that have some controversy to them have great resell value. Also if you can find copies of gta San Andreas for xbox and ps2 with the AO rating those are kinda rare.
This is GREAT!!!!!! I say my guess is 430 games? I remember going to GameStop and trading all my 200 PS2 games and my PS2 for a PS3 and Uncharted game ❤️ Zoboomafoo game??? No way!!!!! I didn’t know that existed
Holy freakin moly - My Disney Kitchen was my JAM as a kid, I played it on PC and actually found a copy like 6 years back, tried it out, maybe some games are better off as how we remember them lol You get literally no tasks at all, you just click stuff around until you get bored its a horrible concept lol
Really enjoy these videos they help a lot I am just starting getting into game flipping I am Pokémon card collector but also will be flipping some toys and stuff as well 😁
Holy shit that store is nuts! So many games! and so many games with tons of doubles! Dude must pay close to nothing in rent or something and use it as mostly a storage spot and sells tons of games online all day.
He's like yep, yep, perfect, okay,👌. $,$,$,$,$,$,$,$,$. Cause you can guarantee he paid basically nothing for his that he's selling to you lol. Instead of 10, why not 8 and instead of 15 why not 12? You could get yourself even more money by asking him to sell for lower even if it's a few bucks.
I buy low titles like that for console bundles I sell online. People are more likely to bid higher on huge bundles, especially modern consoles like PS4 and Xbox.
Ill still make and send you a custom cube if you want. I dont need it to be in a video I just think it would be cool as a gift, I plan to make them for people like retro rick in the future too.
Just curious of when you went to game hub, I was there a few weeks ago, and was looking for Kirby 64, didn’t know if this was before or after my trip to game hub. I believe I was there October 25th around noon
These ships just started popping up out of nowhere in my suggestions so I follow along from time to time even though a lot of these are older videos I enjoy those PG insults like suck a lemon

yes because they don't understand the market, they low ball everything and hopes they get on their feet
there are at least 10 games in total.
LOL
Holy crap its hairy Tornado big fan man
wait aren’t u the IGN a guy?
Hmm, i dunno though,
Maybe close to 10, could be less though
It’s great that he almost gave you half of what it goes for compared to market value. So it ended up with $4 per game for the trade in value. Which seems he is super generous guy :)
$2 each
I wish we had shops like that around here. I just have Pawn America's on every corner that are pricey as hell. I think my closest decent game store is a decent 6h drive 1 way.
Living in Italy there's nothing quite like this here and buying older games always ends in a bloodbath.
Pawn America is the worst. All pawn shops are horrible. Worked in pawn business for 8 years.
luckily in the uk there is a couple game shops per city as well as a load of cex shops (basically game stop in the uk)
he drove from kentucky to tennessee tho

Saving up all the cheaper games for trade-in's. Thats a good one, thanks for the tip!
Yeah but It’s so embarrassing walking in With a bunch of games it’s like he’s going to laundry

Honestly he's the most chilled guy i've heard he was ok with pretty much every offer Phoenix made.
The cat checking out the games was the best.

@Hayzink that's what I was thinking. They all have the same "style" lately. Channels should have their own voice; not sound like the editor.

OMG I USED TO PLAY THAT ZOBOOMAFOO GAME AS A KID 🤯🤯 Seeing that brought back so many memories!!

If he went to Gamestop instead,
Gamestop: "Hmm 350 games....that's about 10 dollars store credit"
3.75 lol
does he really know prices of all his games ? or does he just tell yea good , perfect xD ?
Loving the edits by Riff! So damn good 👍🏻
Its weird how a bunch of youtuber resellers recently got huge lots of games for a fraction of the price in a short period of time out of the blue
u know too much we're watching you
Zaboomafoo on the gameboy color was my very first ever video game that I personally owned lol. Huge nostalgia wave when you pulled out that ps1 game
I’m crying he just letting def jam fight for ny sit there and here comes the pain , both of them together prob could have net you 300 on eBay
Ryan in Clarkesville... I think this is the Ryan who was buying in bulk from me on Mercari! Awesome to see his store!!!
Would love to see an overview of the spines of the games at the end
More videos like this. Love to see that you tell us the prices. Bravo!

Maybe before you trade in all the low end games for $1-3 try to trade bundles or a lot of them local for systems or higher end stuff.
I like how you are helping local businesses while running your own business.
I love the guy in the background “that’s good” “that’ll work” “perfect”
Adding Clarksville to my road trip list. That store is always loaded with inventory!
It’s insane how good the retro video game market is wherever you are. I know I live in a smaller market but dang you have so much more there.
I 100% enjoy this kind of videos, I also like the guy who owns the shop

I learned that if you lot up a bunch of lower dollar games on eBay, you can get around $5-7 a game. People love lots for collections
17:47 Ryan wasn’t ready
Zaboo Mafoo and arthur were my pbs shows as a kid. Now my kids watch the animated show they gave now.
do you ever get nervous you traded in top dollar game by mistake?? or do you just triple check before you trade lol i would have anxiety 😭
Jeez thumbnail is crazy. Watching the vid now 🙌
First video I watched of yours was the Gex vid. So I’m glad the second has another Gex joke. Also lemme know if you ever run it on Warzone 😉
The amount of times I’ve passed this place when I lived in Clarksville is remarkable! I didn’t know their collection was so big

Hey man! Not sure if you know this but Crisis Core on the PSP goes for 40 to 50 dollars on amazon and the Japan import goes for around 170.
I'd guess 965 in value. That's a massive amount of games.
it's always awesome to see Caddicarus appear in a youtube video in some way
This was fun to watch and I don't even know video games! Learn a little here and there from you, thanks!
GameStop: yeah, we can give you $15.28

Treasure planet was one of my favorite movies back when it first came out.
you know what it is? i have so much clutter to get rid of thats why it feels so good and productive to watch you get rid of stuff with trade in lol
