  • Buying a house is the most important and expensive decision that you are going to take in Canada - however, it is really important that we prepare for it from Day 1 - which is when we get a credit card.
In this video, we will talk about the 5 rules that you need to follow in order to improve your credit score from day 1. We will also talk about what makes a credit score and what can we do to improve it in a very short time.

We don't like immigration agents - the ones' that aren't authorized by ICCRC and qualified to help you with your application in exchange for money - first of all, it's not legal to do that, and second of all, it's so easy that you don't really need paid help! We are a young couple who started their Canadian Immigration journey in 2018 and moved to Canada 3 days before the pandemic hit in March 2020. Over the course of our application, we have seen so many people getting screwed over by greedy / fraudulent and unauthorized immigration consultants who promise you the world in exchange for thousands of dollars and deliver a whole lot of NOTHING; to an extent that in many cases, the applications get rejected, due to their negligence.
Therefore, we are taking matters in our own hands. After months of research and our own experience of applying for a Canadian PR, we came up with an e-book series & this TH-cam channel which would include - errors to avoid, perfect sample documents (my own) and alternate ways of immigrating to Canada - 100 pages of absolute goldmine between these 3 e-books - no filters, no premium versions to these ebooks... everything is out there FOR FREE, for you to read and execute the process yourself! All we are doing in these ebooks is sharing our experience of applying for PR ourselves / structuring and pointing you in the right direction via various different resources that are available on IRCC's official website. The TH-cam channel will compliment the e-book and add some personality and entertainment to the entire process :-)
Volume 1: Step by step express entry process from know nothing about immigration all the way to getting an invitation to apply (ECA, IELTS etc). Download here - www.potatotalk...
Volume 2: Post ITA express entry process - documentation, samples, POF, Proof of work, medical, biometrics all the way to getting a stamped passport ;-) Download here - www.potatotalk...

If you find the videos beneficial, please do watch ads completely. I respect them alot, but need to save money. So, I watch one ad atleast completely :) Best channel EVER! You made my friend consider using credit card, who is strictly a believer in no spending anything on loan, just spend from your current savings/money which you have. :) Kudos!

And anyway, if somebody's English is not good enough to come to Canada , why would they need to watch these amazing videos?

Navjot job well done at explaining all these points. Specially it makes sense for people from India and other countries where credit cards have not yet taken off that well and the penetration and credit infrastructure is still not that developed.
However, I would say the advice to make any expenses (after 30% limit is reached) using debit card or cash can be avoided, just that the credit used should not cross 30% at any time (though I know that you did say that). If one can anticipate more than 30% credit usage then just pay off the already used credit limit.
    Rest of it great content

There is one thing you are missing
The credit score we check in scotia Bank that is made by Trans Union Credit Score....
Actually that's not real credit score we can get an idea though plus this credit score is only centred or limited to your scotia bank. Means if u take credit card from Canadian tire and miss the payments that will not effect your Trans Union credit score.
But in real it will impact real credit score

I know linking it with India doesnt make sense however as i said i made me a bit confused to could you please make it clear to me..

Yes.. you can spend more but pay off as soon as you use the CC… even if you have to pay the CC bill 2-3 times a month.
