I’ve literally just done the same Andy. Removed ultima 2+ and went with the same multimaps as you. Not had the chance to try it out yet as I’ve been working but looking forward to seeing if there is a noticeable difference 👀
I am a big fan of your posts and have done some of your mods on my RS too. You need to investigate the Tractive Dampers and a DSC controller, Dreamscience can fit them. It takes the car to another level. Mine is also now forged and running 425BHP.
Sweet video Adam ! From Northern Ireland too 👍🏼 I have a msd 400 with my custom tune, had it on the dyno made 386bhp and 451 foot pound, would be good to see what yours is putting up on the dyno ! Keep up the good videos
I used autotunes dyno as they have a very accurate reading ! Stew was tell me I’d of got my extra 9hp if we had 99ron fuel ! Would be sweet to see you around sometime 👍🏼

Hi just out of interest have you logged any timed runs 0-60,0-100, 50-70 by any chance as be interested what it does with the map ? Compared to standard and Mountune 375 👍
Great vid Adam. I’ve just moved from DS Ultima 3 to MSD multimaps. Your vid says it can take 100 miles or so for the Oct adj to change from 0.8. Feels like I’ve been driving for ages and this hasn’t moved. Any tips for getting this to update quicker please? 🙏
cheers mark, it did yea. The road in the first run was in worse condition than I had remembered from having been on it a couple of years back but I just went for it anyway. Second run road I scouted for suitability just before doing the run :)

@@mrjoe_k5895 Big difference,the map is more linear were as the DS has the flat spot,I’m not knocking the DS as it’s good for the money.

Cheers Jacob, that would be about 391 metric hp so not far off the quoted 400 and 9hp could be just dyno difference. What dyno did you use?

I like the cobb platform for loading maps, I think it is super convenient cos I don't have to go anywhere lol

Hey Adam, do you know how to switch of the cold start catalyst heating?
I'm not sure how to do this, I would imagine it would have to be done in the ECU. Why would you want that though?
@@AdamRainey to get rid of that sound on every startup :p because the higher rpm gives a whistling sound from the intake :p
@@Daviej87 the solution to the whistling is a sound suppressor. Made by many different manufacturers, pretty inexpensive and sorts the issue right out

I have a ds3 map now. How was the MSD 420 map in comparison ? Considering a change also

I am getting a little more than that with my RS, try iridium plugs and 97+ fuel.
