It's really so frustrating how one is enabled to switch to a different user account with no verification. its would be even more fun if one user sets the Apple TV to his/her preference (like the arrangement of apps) and once they switch to their account .. boom no need to go back to settings to turn off parental control each time you want to watch tv just because the kids were watching it earlier and please pleaseeee....let them allow us to set parental restrictions on a single account .! You already have this in place on other devices, there’s no reason why I shouldn’t also have it here!
I keep hoping we’ll be able to download content for offline viewing (as we can on our iPhones and iPads). We use our Apple TV in our camper, and there are plenty of times when this would be amazingly helpful.
They should let you delete default apps or hide them(library like iOS). That’s a feature a lot of people like to see. So you can make you screen look more clean.

What’s missing to get the full high res lossless audio from apple music using the apple TV, is it a hardware or software issue? At the moment, I have to connect an iPad to a DAC using USB-C to get the highest quality. Would be simpler to use the apple TV box connected to my receiver with the HDMI cable.
I don’t understand why Apple doesn’t enable quads Homepod Dolby Atmos. Two speakers aren’t enough to virtualize the Atmos audio. We need more detailed surround with multiple Homepods like the Sony Bravia Quad or HTa9
What exactly is the “21:9 support” - nothing has shown up in beta and no screenshots appear anywhere. Every TH-cam video just says “21:9 support” just repeating the press release with no details.
I’ve owned Apple TV’s since they were released. I’ve never had a problem connecting to WiFi, maybe your unit has a faulty receiver? Could be worth asking for a replacement device under warranty. 34 devices on a system could mean interference, but I have 30 devices in an apartment with no interference so my guess would be the WiFi in the unit
If you are using : Enhanced dialogue and subtitle to watch a movie or TV show , then its best to skip that show. It just shows that the producers are least bothered about the content .

But it remains as easy to find and buy as ever in the old TV Shows app. This happens just about on a constant basis with TV show sales. Second: Say I'm thinking of buying the movie Muppet Christmas Carol on iTunes but I want to preview the Extras menu first to see what the bonus features are. This is one of those titles where that ability is locked out on the new TV app. If I bring up the title in the Movies app though, I can still see all the info that I want to before buying. These are features that I use very often and now seem needlessly broken. If you think I'm missing a way around these issues, please do tell me.

That shit’s intolerably annoying and it doesn’t happen if I watch through the now defunct Movies app on my old version of TV OS. If a complete TV series is on sale, very often that complete series bundle doesn’t show in the new TV app version of the store, but it’s still accessible in the store in the old Television app. If I want to preview the Extras before purchasing a movie, way too often that preview is not available on select movies unless I look them up in the old Movies app. And excuse me for taking two weeks to reply. I muted you after my first response because I also have zero tolerance for bossy/nerdy pedantic replies coming up in my notifications.

Apple tv should have audio output so I can plug into an dac, amp, etc. No homepods please, too expensive and not enough power .
Subtitles on for kids tv/films is good for helping their reading.

I hope they fix the terrible WiFi, my TV 4k disconnects from my Mesh WiFi nearly every day, 34 other devices working without issue.
