    I think you have to hold down on it for 2-5 minutes when the surface is wet. Will know shortly cause about to try it out

    You would want to use like a bike tire patch kit for pond liner

    I put some on my pond and basically it only works if u really dry the liner before you stick the tape on cuz I dried mine with a towel then let it air dry and when I stuck the tape on it bonded really well

    I am wondering if spreading Gorilla Glue on Gorilla Tape might works, as the glue needs water to cure???

      Kevin Noakes you have to use a stitcher. It’s patch and seal. Without a stitcher you’re not going to get the pressure required for wet application.

    • @AlfredoNoakes
      @AlfredoNoakes  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@tonyvandyke7588 What's a stitcher? That's not what any of the videos show. They just slap it on and it works

    • @tonyvandyke7588
      @tonyvandyke7588 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Kevin Noakes is you’re patching something, you’re supposed to use a stitcher. It’s a metal roller. They most commonly used when patching the wall of a tire. It ensures that there are no air pockets and that the adhesive is completely and evenly bonded. If you used a stitcher in both products, you’d get the same result every time.

    • @AlfredoNoakes

      @@tonyvandyke7588 maybe but that is not it, look at the promo ads no stitcher in sight

    It also says no porous material, can't separate the water if it's soaked up in the material. You can still use it but it would have to be dry.

    • @AlfredoNoakes
      @AlfredoNoakes  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Pond liners are not porous I wouldn't think or pond water would not be retained.

    Dry the surface with a hair dryer first and then try again.Also heat the tape a little.

    • @AlfredoNoakes
      @AlfredoNoakes  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That might have worked and also heating it as I apply pressure. Still not what they show in their adverts though.

      @@AlfredoNoakes You got a brand brand of tape.The one i got now its german made and professional,just like in the comercials.
      I didnt tested it on wet surfaces thogh and i doubt it will stick.

    • @ianfossett4482
      @ianfossett4482 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The whole point of the product is that they claim it will stick under water . Thats the selling point , it clearly doesn't do that . If youare going to all the trouble of draining down the pond there are many better repair methods than sticky tape!

      A little bit of quickprime plus on a dry clean liner and it sticks like glue… It definitely needs the primer in my opinion. But be warned it’s says not for use with fish and wildlife even though it says pond liner repair on the packet! Not sure if that’s just to cover themselves if it kills thousands of pounds worth of Koi as I’ve never had a problem using small amounts.
