What is the Best Duct Tape | T-Rex vs Gorilla Tape

Testing a few "duct" tapes I had on hand, I wanted to know how they would hold up outside over the course of 4 seasons. So after one year here are the results. The short of it is T-Rex and Gorilla are the best.

Really interesting test. I use a high end tape for sealing metal in outdoor conditions that is fantastic but expensive.....that Gorilla waterproof is on my list to check out. Good food for thought ..thanks

would Gorilla or T-rex work to waterproof my windows? I would be covering around the windows and the stucco wall to prevent rain water from seeping in. I eventually will remove the tape when I hire someone to work on reflashing my windows.

gorilla tape is not duct tape. duct tape has a high heat resistance, for duct work, gorilla tape does not.
