Man I left a comment earlier and I think YT ate it. Very cool. Anyway uh, very good video. Personally I really liked this one, it had this real retro action platformer vibe and I just enjoyed it. That said, it is 500% different in writing and approach from the Trails series, since it's paced and structured in a way where it never keeps you away from the gameplay for too long. Which is not like Trails at all. I personally found the characters memorable, but that's partially because of their designs and again had that retro feel. I think this game's biggest ""flaw"" is that it doesn't feel much like a Trails game at all, and if you really like those games (and don't have a taste for more retro action platformers) then it's a very hard sell. Either way, I'm not much of a number score guy myself but I'd personally give it a 7 or 8? Most Trails games are like a 10 for me tho lol. Anyway, again good vid. I'll probably explain myself down the line when I make my own Nayuta video.
@@GenmaTheSamurai I’ll remember to check that nayuta vid out cause im curious on more of what you have to say, id honestly wished i liked the game more myself but thats life i guess lol.
Pretty good review, Still sounds more interesting and fun than Reynatis and Valkyrie Elysium, and Infinity Strash: DQ Dai, even if your thoughts about Nayuta match how I feel about Reynatis. And yeah, even a lower rating than Tokyo Xanadu
Ngl one of these days i gotta get a elysium review out there. Could be kinda fun, maybe once i get a bit more free time. And yea, issues with xanadu aside i can easily say I enjoyed the gameplay more
Nayuta is the somehow connected but not really but crazy theory connected Trails game with a simple but decent story and very simple but decent action gameplay. I personally wouldn't spend full price for it but if you find the game for around 20 bucks on discount sure why not.

Pretty solid review man, and this is one I've had my eye on for a while, but not sure if I'll pick it up anytime soon 😅 Great video regardless!

Yea its a perfectly fine game imo, nothing really insane but its a good 20/30 dollar title
I think its hilarious the one time Trails makes an action rpg its combat is better than all of Ys games ive played so far.....
