I am absolutely 100% against a playable Zelda, the only way I see it working is if there is a temple that only she can enter and she has to go get an item for Link. But the idea of bein able to essentially choose to play as Zelda for the entire game is absolute trash that I will never support. You don't fix what's not broken. Makin Zelda playable changes the game series and just appeases woke inclusive shit.

I feel that whoever tried to make a Zelda movie would inevitably make Link speak which would be literally the biggest mistake they could make. He is one of the few protags that it would actually ruin.

BOTW is definitely the best game to introduce yourself to the franchise. Glad you started there. You're right about the story though... The older Zelda games had better stories but it was sacrificed a little bit with exploration in BOTW. Regarding playing as Zelda. It's never been a thing in the franchise (at least in the main titles... you can play as her on a few of the spin offs). Apparently though in Skyward Sword (the game before BOTW), there was meant to be a playable Zelda once you beat the game as link but I think the idea ended up getting scrapped due to time or it just not being up to their expectations (I'd need to look more into it again though). However the idea got pretty far so they made cut scenes for Zelda that just ended up just playing in the credits to the game. Anyways, I'll have to make some time to tune into one of your livestreams if you end up streaming the game. Glad to see you just as exited as I am!

I think Illumination should make it a show so they can go more in-depth with the story. Then, down the line, connect the characters and make a Super Smash Bros movie.
BOTW was your first Zelda game? Oh you poor man. Talk about a rough first impression. BOTW is the most UN Zelda game of the whole franchise. That's like playing Mario Paint and thinking it's what Mario is supposed to be about.
Really sad that Link is still mute, Zelda is gone for big portion of the game, outdated graphics and still no underwater exploration plus the open world looks so empty. We've seen unreal engine 5 and games like ff16 spiderman 2 senua 2 starfield while this $70 game looks worse than ps3. No wonder Nintendo keep becoming more irrelevant every generations.
It's running on a Nintendo Switch. What did you expect? To be quite honest, for a game this big and ambitious running on the Switch, it's mind-blowing how good it looks. BOTW was able to not only look good, but have a stable 30fps 95% of the time, which doesn't hinder the experience at all. After about 10 or so minutes of play time, the frame rate becomes a non-issue. Good graphics does not equal good game. Not only that, but you're assuming so many things about the game while having not even played it yet. Link is, and always has been, a silent protagonist. Zelda is gone for a majority of the game? Now that one is just completely baseless. She has had more emphasis and dialogue in the trailers than ever before, actually suggesting the opposite, and that she'll play a much bigger role in TOTK than in BOTW. I genuinely don't understand where you get all this from LMAO
@@FraggedSpartan I can see people latching onto you saying "a stable 30 fps", but to be perfectly honest, the difference between 30 and 60 FPS just isn't noticeable. Unless you're one of those people looking for something wrong in everything you see, and you're looking closely and carefully at the screen instead of playing like a normal person, it just isn't.
