That is obviously the truth. They steal because of the voters. If voters stop collecting money from politicians, the appetite to steal amongst politicians would reduce drastically and even make them function well.
I used to think death penalty is the worst punishment but actually it is not. The worst punishment is life imprisonment with no chance of parole.

But they have been able to manage the little they have and have used it to build Amazing infrastructure like great roads, bridges, airports, power, water supply. Everything is first world standard. They have been able to do this because their politicians don’t take them for fools and are not constantly stealing from them. Nigerian politicians take the people for fools.

You should hold your politicians accountable.
While i understand what this man is saying about public hearings and interested parties looking at the bill before it was passed, I think it's also important to note that the Trade Union Congress (TUC) probably have little interest in cybersecurity and placing a 'levy' in a cybersecurity act is a little under-handed. It's not the type of thing organisations with interest in cost of living etc would expect. The real question though would be why the banks didn't fight it. I think cybersecurity is very important for them and also the technology firms.
A law marker said a bank owner was sentenced in Bangladesh meanwhile it happened in Vietnam. How are they making laws for us ? This is mind boggling. 😮
