Even if you have the right of way, you should always give time and space to the other boat to keep clear.
Orange clearly went for the collision without waiting for a response.
As said in the video, you are a sailor, not a jury, therefore you have no power into telling others to turn or not do certain things just because you think it is wrong.

There seems to be a lot of confusion about luffing rights among the general sailing population. I know next to nothing about match or team racing, but in the absence of a rule 17 leeward passing situation most leeward overlapped boats can luff right up to head to wind without penalty. In this case the overlap begins when orange tacks below blue, but not from clear astern. Then the overlap is broken for a moment when orange heads down. When overlap is reestablished, it is by blue approaching the windward side from astern, so as you say later, orange DOES have luffing rights. Blue wasn't giving Orange enough room, but the glaring collision happened almost on purpose by erratic orange movement. Also as you say orange causes a rule 14 collision by erratic movement that blue is unable to avoid. I agree that blue would have been better to tack away rather than let orange play the lee bow game. I'll guess in a protest situation both might have been penalized, orange for 14, +/-42 and blue for 11, +/-42. Good video!
