You may wanna double check that the while the unity fast lpvo mount is the tallest stand alone mount, it only sits at 2.05”, the unity fast red dot mounts are the ones sitting at 2.26”. A fast riser or absolute fast riser is needed to get to the 2.26” height with lower 1/3 or absolute cowitness lpvo mounts

I have a strong feeling that 2.26 LPVO mounts would soon become a thing with red dots going to taller 2.91 mounts like the GBRS mount.
I have a specwar and managed to snag one of the specwar uppers during a drop on LMTs site. The gun is beyond smooth shooting, especially with my RC2 on it. I highly recommend upgrading to an A5H2/H1 buffer system, it makes it even better
Or maybe Geissele S42 H3? A bit more buffer weight, better spring and no added length. Just a theory tho, I bet it should work with higher backpressure cans.
@@JohnZ556A5 system typically runs a sprinco spring. I’ll take a sprinco spring over G$ any day. You put one in your lower and you will literally never wear it out. It’s rated for like 10,000,000 cycles. Same with your extractor springs. Swap them out for the sprinco (different coils depends on ur gas system) and it makes a huge difference over the likely bottom tier springs in your BCG
I watched part of this video and realized I never finished it. I also have a 12.5 specwar and have run Sierra 5, sandman S, Rex MG7K in .358, and the number 1 improvement for this gun has been the BRT gas tube. I can’t recall if I commented this or not before but dude, it changed the entire rifle. Even if you put a flow 556k on it, I would try it. Takes less than 10 minutes to swap and just the two barrel bolts and the single gas tube pin. They make one specifically for LMT’s and just tell them your setup and I swear it made this gun actually shootable. It was absolutely miserable before with a Sierra 5 and even a h3 buffer and enhanced carrier. Idk how they sell these guns to groups that plan on suppressing them, it’s ridiculous
I’ve got something similar on the way! I do agree it can be gassy especially in confirmed area. I still used this gun more than any of my other ARs. Good looking though. Can’t wait to try it.

It’s now just slowly morphed into my “well I can just use the specwar for that” gun that I take every single time to everything. I just scored a 9” 300blk upper last night and I’m hoping it’s just as good. It’s like a mini specwar it’s neat. I just don’t shoot 300blk all that much but it popped up and I couldn’t resist lol.

Depends on where the mlok attachment is located. Sometimes the gas block doesn’t clear without removal of attachments, I had to remove my rail scales to swap barrel. Cheers

Joe from LMT lets make more fucking Specwar uppers already. The 12.5" mid length really is smooth shooting I have it in a standard MLC upper because I haven't been able to find a specwar upper for the last 2 years that wasn't marked up by some jackass. I did a velocity test with my Labradar and a 11.5" KAC upper vs the 12.5" LMT barreled upper with m193. The 15 shot average with the 11.5 KAC was 2831fps and with the 12.5" LMT barrel was 2835fps. I was hoping for more of a difference but its one barrel and one lot of m193.
@@blakeduncan2930 I primarily run XTAC 55 grain and AAC 75 grain. Last time I shot groups at distance I got a 2.5” group at 200 with the XTAC 55. I think it could be tighter if I had more magnification or someone with better eye sight was behind the gun. I’m happy with it overall. I’ve shot some multigun matches out to 550 on the clock and the 55 will work but I get more first round impacts with the 75s.
Nice blaster!! I wish Mega Arms still made their true monolithic uppers, as I’m partial to their design & fit and finish over LMT’s. But still, you’ve set that rig up beautifully man.
I managed to build a quad mega, took me a year and a half to find the pieces. LMT is the closest thing on the market, another bonus of LMT is the mlok, Mega got sued and shut down before mlok became a thing on the megalithic uppers.
IMO, the LMT bcg is not an upgrade from the Sionics NP3 bcg. NP3 is better than chrome or phosphate in everyway. OCKS is better than factory staking. Sprinco extractor spring is better than milspec. Also, I believe the Unity LEAP is 2.05" not 2.26" like the FAST riser is. Otherwise, I have an LMT R20 Rahe civ clode and think they're good rifles.
LMT SPECWAR is a dream rig of mine for sure . I also love 1-6× . I'm currently using 1-10× but I've never went past 6x in 2Gun when we are shooting out to 500Y . Hell 500Y and my ACOG with Offset MRDS works pretty well . Centurion CM4 MIDWEIGHT HF 13.7 - 14.5 middy is personal favorite . I'm running Turbo K on DA428 Adapter with Pinned NOX HYBRID F.H.. I really wish I would of went with brake TBH but oh well now i know. I also use Springco Blue Spring with Colt H2 Buffer . I've tried using Springco Red but does not cycle reliably with 223 55g FMJ which I use 98.2% of the time . I'm getting 3 o'clock ejection pattern so I'm GTG . Crazy the LMT MRP has been out for almost 20 years . I bought LMT MRP CQB in 2012 . LMT Enhanced BCG / Bolt was the best kept secret until couple years ago . Kick myself in the ass for trading that LMT but oh well . I love the look of the Specwar and it's such an awesome Carbine . I'm a quad rail fan so I wish theh made 11.5" Quad Version of that Rail . Buddy has 13.25" Quad Rail MRP Upper with D.Wilson MRP Barrel Conversion for Centurion 14.5 MIDWEIGHT HF Barrel. . I'll always be a sucker for TDP Colt / Colt Canada M4A1 but Centurion and LMT are my absolute favorites. New KAC KS1 13.7" looks pretty bad ass . Especially paired with their new Flow through K Can . Huxwrx Flow 556k is an awesome Can . I would get one but all my rigs are setup for Keymo . I'll probably try out the new YHM Turbo K-RB . My Turbo is actually big enough to work on my 6ARCs .
