    I know you do not need anyone to defend you but I feel very protective when such a lovely, kind, well disposed person has unpleasant comments made on their vlog. I have rarely seen anyone who is less like a narcissist let alone bi-polar!!! Most of us love you Rick and admire your open mindedness to trying new things. Keep strong and carry on :)

    I can’t imagine how sad a person has to be to get so worked up over someone else’s diet to leave a comment on a video which they CHOSE to watch for FREE complaining about the content… Some people really need to get a life. Thanks for putting out these vids Rick. Really enjoying them (as well as all your older videos too)

    You’re on the right path, stay the course! I like to keep a bag of frozen shrimp around when I don’t know what to eat. You can thaw it under cold water in a few mins. Then I melt butter with some salt and garlic powder, bake on a cookie sheet at 400 for 8-9 mins 16:51

    I think the problem is that you are someone who is actually seeking growth and good health, and we are seeing your success. People who can't find this in their lives absolutely hate to see it in others. Negative people are experts in Projection, and when they fail, they want to see others fail too. Just keep on keeping on, you're doing a great job and you should be proud!

    For me, with coffee craving after dinner, I have come to believe our mind fancies a treat after dinner. The coffee was what your mind went too. But when you drank it, there was no satisfaction. I've done that many times. And clearly you know how to deal with haters. Keep it up my friend. You're doing great!😊👍

    Amazing how the time has gone, well done. I’m 3 months ahead of you on a reduced sugars diet and almost four stone lost (not full carnivore tho) to try and reverse my type 2 diabetes. I’ve felt amazing for the last two months and have no desire to go back to carbs, snacks and other sugars that spike insulin. Just watching your daily videos helps me, thanks for sharing your experience 👍

    Oh my goodness the comments made me laugh. Keep going Rick do what you’re doing, I have been watching you for years on and off, because so many vids to watch. But I always come back. I have been on Keto for years but now I have extras, still careful with things. Good luck with everything, remember taste buds do change, so don’t be to surprised - sugar has changed my taste buds a lot.

    I saw that comment and chose not to engage with the commenter but it was upsetting to see such a kind and gentle soul called a bipolar narcissist. Some of the cited symptoms apply to a myriad of conditions, and the others were not things that reckon after watching you for years. We all have ebbs and flows; I see consistent interests throughout the year, and thoughtfulness of budget and frugality. I’m glad you know who you are Rick. You are very appreciated 💙 I doubt that person was a mental health professional because that would be unprofessional (and off the mark [goes without saying])

    Hi Rick, excellent vlog as always. Really enjoying the series. I didn’t know much about the carnivore diet before this although I have done Keto in the past. Your comments on desiring chips and crisps reminded me that one of the things I began to crave while on keto was crunchy food. Any thoughts on crunchy food substitutions that don’t contain sugars / carbs?

    A snacky thing I like is Beef Jerky. I'm not sure if you have something like that in England. Pemmican is similar. It is dried meat with fat/tallow mixed in, and very delicious. It also gives your jaws a workout! 😄

    Well, Rick, you have earned my utmost respect for how you handled these negative channel marauders! That is a testament to your character. I've seen so many channel hosts become so affronted and angry in response to attacks, that it was so disturbing that I unsubscribed. From what I can see, you are the farthest thing from a bipolar narcissist. You are trialing a way of life that you are hoping will improve your overall health. You seem on top of your research too, which is always a positive. I wondered if you had started this way of life due to gut issues? Did I see/hear somewhere that you had IBS that essentially disabled you? If that is the case, I gather that things have resolved? IBS/Crohn's is horribly disabling and can lead to fear of getting too far away from a bathroom. Anyway, I hope all is going well in that department. One thing that I would like to comment, is that this Carnivore way of life must be very expensive unless you live alone. Grocery costs would be astronomical if other members of a household were not on board. You'd still have to buy dairy, veg, fruit, bread etc for those not on it! That said, I wish you success and look forward to seeing you out and about with Alex in the future!

    • @rickvanman
      @rickvanman  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks for the wonderful comments Louise, most appreciated. Yes, IBS was the main driving force behind this and many other changes, it was actually the reason why I became a van man in the first place, (needed to be near a usable bathroom at all times) 😊👍❤️

    • @louiselage7740
      @louiselage7740 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@rickvanman You are most welcome! And Thank you for clarifying my inquiry. I wasn't sure if IBS was the reason why you started Carnivore. Anyway, I hope all is going well and you have found the answer. I am awaiting your 45 day bloodwork to see how things have changed! Not that you had any big flags, but still would be interesting to see what is going on now...wishing you sweet dreams, a happy tummy, and a wonderful Christmas....🎄✨ p.s. I have been meaning to comment that I really found your prayers to the animal that gave up it's life for you very touching. It is a very common practice in most indigenous populations around the world, but I am sure you already knew that....

    Honestly I had a bet with my daughter when you will drop the BBBE diet. BUT I couldn't care less BECAUSE there are countless ways of finding what is right for you, and I am 100 percent sure the PATH is what we have to look for, not chasing for the one solution.
    I love following you on your journey, if you ever would find the one and best thing, I would have to leave and find others looking for salvation. Do not change a thing! Please. You attract the right people. The ones that got here and don't fit have been sent from the universe to create ballance. But they are not important, just a weight on the scale.

    Hi there Rick. Following your journey and it's all very interesting. I confess to not being particularly good at being a guardian of my diet over the years. This year however due to the old ticker not ticking as well as it used to I'm paying a bit more attention. Everything I've read says red meat is not a good thing for heart health, I guess down to Cholesterol (noted is the study you mentioned the other day). What are your thoughts on that?

    I’m so interested in the carnivore way of life so your content is spot on for me.
    I’m keto atm but will see what happens moving forward.
    Have a question though, are you allowed cream? I have that in my coffee now and like you I prefer fresh coffee beans and the reason I’m saying this is because cream has 0 carbs and I have replaced this with milk. Just saying from one coffee lover to another 😊

    Just watched your pour your coffee away, and had a thought. I'm not a coffee drinker, but is it feasible to put your coffee into an ice cube tray? As ice cream is off the menu, but it's something your enjoy, I'm wondering if you made round ice cube coffee balls and froze them, kind of Malteser sized. Would make a nice summer desert?
    I'm not an omelette fan, but wondered if scrambled eggs and bacon is another snack that's both hot and doesn't require defrosting anything?

    We are all in prisons of our own making.... everybody seems to be looking for a 'label' these days , too may internet self diagnosing 'quacks'....As someone who studied biological sciences my concerns atm revolve about internet supplements many of which are unregulated... just be careful. Personally watching your vids has put me off red meat for life..I can smell the beef dripping from here. .. Many many years ago I worked in a meat processing plant and the same thing happened.... didn't eat meat for over 10 years.... but each to their own... I'm more interested in whether this lifestyle is sustainable.... 😆
