The you tube videos are so helpful, but speaking with Jennifer is the best help ever! I purchased a used Rose wheel and have learned so much from the videos but needed the extra advice on details from her. She is the best! Thank you for all of the help!
Wow this series about the Majacraft Rose has been amazingly helpful. I just took my first spinning wheel class after doing drop spindling and after watching you with this wheel I'm convinced it's the one for me. I will of course try spinning on it but you have made it very enticing. Thank you
I see you there spinning and look at my Rose and wish my hip wasn't so bad at present so I can't treadle! Never mind, soon I hope! I have a lot of plying to do, not my favourite part of spinning. I often treadle with just one foot to give the other a rest though treadling on Rose is so smooth.
So fun. Thank you for sharing. Can you do a video on lacing up the bobbin. My bobbin slider is different than the one on your rose. Also, how to get the bobbin on an off more easily. Thank you .
I do too, I use the adjustment feature all the time! Haven't really noticed much difference between my old one and the new one, but I need to spend more time with the new one. I am going to try to get footage with the stylus and the lace kit today, see if I notice anything then.
TY for making videos on the Rose! I enjoy my Pioneer so much that I've been considering another Majacraft wheel that has more ratio range and features. Rose is on the top of my list. My friend, who previously owned a Rose, said she didn't like how it treadled (and prefers the Little Gem). How does the Rose treadle compare to the Pioneer?
Hi Char - You are very welcome! I love your Pioneer wheel, its the painted one right? I think they treadle pretty similar, I need to take out my Pioneer again and reinstall the crank assy as I think its not perfectly aligned. Want to make a troublehshooting video about it first though. I have a bunch more Rose videos left to go, then I think I'll start on the Gem. They both treadle really nicely, I think.
Why does no one show you how to attach the leader to the bobbin or even how to thread the leader so you can acutally spin? I have a new to me rose wheel and I cannot find decent instruction on how to tie the leader on or to thread it through the loops on the bobbin or orifice. Very frustrating!
Hi there! So sorry you are frustrated. Here is a link to a video I made on all the flyers and the section where I thread a flyer. I don't have a video on how to tie onto a bobbin because I don't think I do it right! I just tie a really tight knot and then after threading on the flyer I hold down the leader to the bobbin core until it is wrapped a couple times. I will investigate the correct method and make a video on it - thanks for the inspiration! th-cam.com/video/dnHuZaveRtM/w-d-xo.html

Wonderful!
I find those crank arms mesmeric! They’re such cranky fun to watch!
They remind me of windmills, joyfully spinning

That is so great to hear, I am thrilled that I was able to help you find the wheel of your dreams! Good luck!
You look so happy
Thanks! I am so glad that came through - such a wonderful wheel!
The Rose sounds like she’s purring. So content.
It is a lovely wheel
You look so absolutely content with her! I can’t imagine how wonderful it is to be surrounded by all that Majacraft magic.
Thanks Jessica - I was so happy that the new Rose is just as lovely as her grandma!
Beautiful wheel and spinning 💜.
thank you Lisa!

Aww - sorry to hear that - hope you are on the mend soon
Beautiful wheel…saving my pennies! 🥰

Hi Margaret - yep, this is a fine Idea for a video! Thanks for the suggestion
I love that you can adjusted the head🥰 Have. You noticed a difference between this one and yours?
